You may not know the name, Brandon Truaxe, but you most likely will know some of the brands he created – Brandon was behind the international skin care brand – The Ordinary which is part of the Deciem group of companies. This is the true story of the rise and demise of a man that was once lauded business genius. Across 15 months from 2017, he went from skincare savant to taking over his companies Instagram account, with daily disturbing messages, he fired staff via social media, accused his fellow shareholders of financial impropriety, was arrested outside the British Pm’s house, and was sanctioned in the Uk and then taken to court in a bitter court battle which saw him ousted from his own company. It Didn’t Break… It Bent

In 2019, a major review into Tasmania’s prosecution system found it was working “satisfactorily.” A few issues. Some pressure. Nothing the system couldn’t handle. But what happens when that pressure builds quietly… over time? Through an RTI-obtained document, a new internal review from 2024 reveals a system under strain growing case loads, increasing complexity, delays in disclosure, and resources struggling to keep up. In this episode, we step back from individual cases and examine the system itself the warning signs, the missed opportunities, and the environment these cases existed within. A Parliamentary Inquiry has now been established into Tasmania Police's responses to allegations of officer misconduct, including the handling of the Paul Reynolds matter. The Committee is inviting submissions from members of the public, current and former police officers, victims, witnesses and anyone with information relevant to the inquiry. Submissions close on 4 September 2026. The Corrections Officer and the Prisoner | Peter and Belinda Bates

In this episode of Real Crime with Adam Shand, Adam sits down with Peter and Belinda Bates — a couple whose love story began behind prison walls and whose shared mission now is to stop the cycle of violence before it destroys more lives. Raised in a home defined by extreme domestic violence, coercion and control, Peter grew up believing brutality was strength and drugs were survival. By 19 his life had spiralled into tragedy. A confrontation ended in a young man’s death. Charged with murder and ultimately sentenced for manslaughter, Peter would spend 14 and a half years behind bars. Belinda brings her own story. Having lived through coercive control in a previous relationship, she understands how abuse hides behind silence, shame and normalization. The Dodger: Roger Rogerson's Confessions | Mark Dixon

Mark "Hammer" Dixon spent years on the road with Roger Rogerson and Mark "Chopper" Reed — working security, collecting debts and sharing hotel rooms in outback Queensland. And in that time, Rogerson said things he probably shouldn't have. He told Dixon the two men convicted of the 1973 Whiskey Au Go Go firebombing — which killed 15 people — were innocent. That he'd written them up. He hinted that Donald McKay's body was never going to be found in Griffith, because investigators were looking in the wrong state. He let slip, in an unguarded moment over a glass of red, exactly who pulled the trigger on undercover cop Michael Drury in 1984. Dixon isn't a criminal. He has no record.
