Josh stands his ground against his attacker and has a moment where he could have stood by and let Greg die but ultimately saves his life.

Maddie’s distress call in the form of “I love you” successfully alerts Chimney that something is just not right and gets the Badge and Ladder team on the outside into motion.

Athena babysits Buck and Chimney as they rally the troops on the outside after Chim follows his gut feeling something’s wrong.

We talk about why Buck comfortably stands back and gives Maddie & Chim their “right in front of you” moment, how Buck and Chimney’s different relationships with Maddie reflect how they care for her in different ways, and the many Madney and Buddie parallels – knowing when the other is off more than anyone else, because they really SEE each other.
