We share one woman's pregnancy journey over 40, birth and postpartum every Monday. We laugh, cry, share a little TMI and openly talk about the ones we lost. Our mission is to help women trying to conceive believe pregnancy is possible after 40. We also celebrate and support women who are pregnant through all four trimesters and beyond. Not only is pregnancy is possible over 40, it can also be amazing! It's not too late, and we are not too old! It's just your podcast host Jamie Massey talking to one woman about her experience and her opinions with her pregnancy over 40. While we do share what doctors have told us and medical stuff, this isn't a show for medical advise.

    094. We have Rosanne Austin on to share her spontaneous pregnancy at 44. She is the creator of the Fearlessly Fertile Method and host of the Fearlessly Fertile Podcast. She helps women get and stay pregnant by leveraging the mind-body connection. She started her career as a prosecutor in California when she and her husband wanted to start a family. She was prosecuting sex crimes into her late 30's. Her plans for getting pregnant on her timeline weren't working. She didn't even want to bother working with her OBGYN and wanted to go straight to a fertility clinic. Her OBGYN had previously told her she was close to 40, so it would be hard for her to get pregnant. She took that advise to heart. When she went to the fertility clinic the pressure got worse.     093. We have Kayla on to share her spontaneous pregnancy at 41. Kayla lives in Bay City, Michigan with her husband and 13-month old son. Kayla never really wanted to have kids, that is until her 40th birthday. Her and her husband decided to try to have a baby. She had been on birth control for 26-years, so she assumed it would take some time for her body to adjust. She was pregnant quickly.     Selah's Spontaneous Pregnancy at 41 after IVF

    092.  We have Selah on to share her spontaneous pregnancy at 41. You might know her for her older mom and boy mom skits on IG or as the voice of Chloe Bourgeois. She started trying to conceive in her early thirties. After three years of trying, she started to be more intentional by tracking her ovulation and temperature, but nothing happened. She went to a fertility clinic for help. They cleaned out her fallopian tubes, scraped her uterus and removed a garden of polyps on her uterus. She was never officially diagnosed, but she had an endometrioma on her uterus. Her periods were extremely painful. Then she had two IUI's, but that didn't work. With her three egg retrievals, she only got nine eggs total, so she wasn't confident. Finally, the embryo stuck with the transfer, and she had her first son at 37. At 38, she wanted to try for a sibling, but after a year of trying, she wasn't pregnant. At 39, right before Christmas, she email her clinic to let them know she was ready to have another transfer. Christmas morning she woke up only to realize her cycle was late. She found out Christmas Day she was pregnant at 39 with her second baby.     Neesha's Donor Egg Pregnancy at 44 after Post Menopause

    091. Neesha is on to share her pregnancy story at 44, using donor eggs. She is originally from the Caribbean, but lives with her husband and daughter in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada . She married her husband when she was just 29 and wanted to enjoy each other before starting a family. At 33, she started thinking about having a baby. At 35, nothing was happening, so we wanted to see a doctor. Her husbands test results came back fine, so the doctor told her coldly, it was obviously her. A year later, while studying in the USA, Neesha was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis with a 10% chance of conceiving naturally. Later, no cycle for an entire year: post menopausal.     Bonus: Recovery

    Pregnancy After Loss Over 40 Round Table Discussion

    090. We have two returning guests on to discuss pregnancy after loss over 40. The goal of this show is to share our experiences and normalize loss over 40 because loss is a part of so many of our journeys and we are not alone. We have returning guest from episode 48, Jamey. Jamey had a 10-year IVF journey that included two miscarriages and many other losses along the way to her pregnancy at 41 with her daughter using embryo adoption.
