Day 68- The Hypocrites are in the Lowest Depths of Hell | Nisa 144-154

In today’s episode of Qur’an in a Year+, we reflect on verses 144–154 of Surah An-Nisā’.

Allah warns that the hypocrites will be in the lowest depths of Hell for combining disbelief with deceit—but even then, He leaves the door of mercy open for those who repent, reform, and cling sincerely to Him.

The verses teach that Islam allows the oppressed to express pain but calls believers to rise above anger through forgiveness and gentle speech. It refines emotion rather than suppressing it.

Finally, Allah exposes the arrogance of those who demanded miracles from the Prophet ﷺ—the same pride that blinded their ancestors to the truth.
