    Life rarely unfolds exactly as we imagine. There are moments when doors open effortlessly, and others when opportunities disappear, plans are delayed and our hearts feel weighed down.     When Sinning Becomes Normal: A Warning for Every Muslim | Ustadh Abdulrahman Hassan

    Why do some people continue committing sins without feeling any guilt, while others are deeply affected after a single mistake? In this powerful Islamic reminder, Ustadh Abdulrahman Hassan explains one of the greatest spiritual dangers facing every believer: the gradual hardening of the heart through persistent sin. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that when a person commits a sin, a black spot appears upon the heart. If they sincerely repent, stop the sin and seek Allah’s forgiveness, the heart is cleansed. But if they continue committing sins without repentance, the black spots increase until they begin to cover and harden the heart. At first, a sin may bring guilt, regret and even tears. But when the same wrongdoing is repeated, it can gradually become easier. What once disturbed the heart can become a habit, and what became a habit can eventually become part of a person’s identity. The most frightening stage is when someone no longer feels remorse and begins to see their sins as normal, harmless or even appealing. This lecture explores how Shaytan beautifies evil deeds and makes disobedience appear attractive. It also reminds us that spiritual numbness does not happen overnight. It often develops through repeatedly ignoring guilt, delaying repentance and refusing to respond to the warnings within the heart. However, the heart can be purified. Prayer, charity, Qur’an, dhikr, seeking forgiveness and acts of kindness can strengthen faith and help restore the heart. May this reminder encourage us to examine our hearts, abandon our sins, increase our good deeds, seek Allah’s forgiveness and ask Him to keep our hearts firm upon His religion.     The Night Prayer (Tahajjud) Is Powerful! | Ustadh Abdulrahman Hassan

    There is a time in the night when the world goes quiet. The distractions fade. The noise disappears. And most people are asleep. But there are believers that rise. In this powerful Islamic reminder, Ustadh Abdulrahman Hassan speaks about the night prayer, qiyam al-layl, tahajjud, and the secret strength Allah places in the hearts of those who leave their beds for Him. The night prayer is not just another act of worship. It is a sign of sincerity. A moment of closeness. A private conversation between the servant and their Rabb. Stand before Allah. Ask. Repent. Remember your Rabb while others sleep.
