Part 1 entails the preparation involved to travel around the world on a motorcycle. The engineering he did to make the motorcycle capable, the equipment needed and the direction in which to travel. Today on the Deadass Podcast, we’re thrilled to welcome Kenny Brodie from Only Cans. Kenny shares his fascinating journey from childhood to becoming the creator of Only Cans, where he provides honest reviews of various canned alcoholic beverages across social media. He also talks about his YouTube channel, where he documents his travels, welding projects, and the construction of his toy hauler.
In this episode, Kenny brought along some unique beverages for us to try, including Danny Grant's Sour Puss and a Fijian Rum called Ratu. As we test the beverages, we discuss some of Kenny's personal highs and lows of his journey. It was an absolute pleasure having Kenny on the podcast, making the trip down to join us and I feel honoured that he shared some of his personal life.

Today on the Deadass Podcast, I am thrilled to have Natalya Diehm,an Australian BMX Freestyle competitor. She is a four time and current National Champion, 2 time and current Oceania Champion, 2019 Vans BMX Pro Cup World Champion. Nat proudly represented Australia at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games where she placed 5th (with a ruptured ACL). Nat now have my sights set on qualifying and competing on the 31st July, at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Nat recently competed at the first event of the 2024 Olympic qualifier series held in Shanghai, China. The second Olympic qualifier event is in Budapest, Hungary 20-23 June. Qualification is earned by a combination of points over the two events or selection by a National Olympic Committee of a qualified country (Australia is a qualified nation) As well as qualifying for Paris 2024, Nat have also been invited to compete at X-Games in Ventura California this year, on the 27- 30 of June. This will be the first X-Games in which women have been invited to compete in their own BMX Freestyle event. This is a huge honour for Nat, as history is being made. Nat strongly believes that this will highlight to the younger generation of girls that they can do anything and prove that there is a pathway in this sport to both the Olympics and X Games!
