Why Did God Flood The Earth

Rather, it is this: why was an ark needed in the first place? In other words, why was God willing to flood the entire globe, only six chapters after creating it? Seems drastic. Explaining Sin And The Fall

One sin. That's all it took. In our day, sin is treated casually - as a marketing device (think 'Sin City'). But ONE SIN is all it took for man to be thrown out of the garden. One sin is all it took for chaos to sweep the created realm. This tells us two things: 1) sin must be really bad, and 2) God must be really holy. Questions That We'll Answer: A) The Serpent's Deception & The First Act of Disobedience: What lies and half-truths did the serpent use to entice Eve? How did both Adam and Eve's decision to eat the forbidden fruit constitute disobedience and a rejection of God's authority? Understanding Creation

There is a God, and you are not Him. That is the starting point for all theology. " In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth ." But how did He create the world? And for what purpose?
