    Episode 52 - Stop Trying To Fit In

    If you don’t want to be average you are going to have to stand out. Average people do average actions. They don’t want to see you succeed because it forces them to reflect on themselves which makes them feel bad. They are going to hate on you and try to hold you back out of their own selfishness because misery loves company. You won’t be able to please everybody so why please anybody. You will never find fulfillment pretending to be somebody you’re not. BE YOURSELF!

    Episode 51 - Stop Letting Yourself Off The Hook

    Tough love is still love. Being hard on myself is one of the things that has brought me the most growth in life. Be in a constant state of honest reflection always looking for what you can do better. You need to sometimes beat yourself up a little bit in order to learn from an experience. It is important to acknowledge wins but many people waste time doing so and allow it to hold them back.

    You are capable of more, you always are. Accepting that you can do better is hard, but you can’t do better without the humility. Your standards should be so high that you aren’t meeting them because when you don’t settle that is where true growth happens. You only get one life so why not make the most of it by becoming the best version of yourself.

    Episode 49 - Stop Procrastinating

    You only get one life so why allow it to be controlled by a temporary feeling of comfort. In order to stop putting things off, you have to accept the fact that you are doing it. There is no perfect time but the best time is right now. You can always find an excuse to put things off but you have to start in order to get to where you want to be.     Episode 48 - How To Build Discipline

    Discipline is a perspective shift. There is always a bigger challenge than what you are going through. When you realize it is not that hard, it gets easier. If you complain about how much it sucks, it will continue to suck. A big key to discipline is having a purpose and why behind what you are doing which you can fall back on when you are feeling unmotivated.     Episode 47 - How The Gym Changed My Life

    I don’t know where I would be without the gym. It all started with having an eating disorder and being told discipline was a bad thing. So I did the opposite of what they told me which got me in the gym. It has taught me discipline, delayed gratification, consistency, never being satisfied and being hard on myself.     Episode 46 - Being Alone Is When You Grow

    I struggled with being alone for so long. I was afraid to face myself so I settled my standards in relationships that numbed me. It was never enough validation and I knew it was wrong but I continued to do it anyway. I took advantage of other people and parts of myself in order to feel good about myself.
