His portraits of Queen Elizabeth II have become some of his best-known works, reimagining the late monarch through a vivid visual language of street art, rock 'n' roll and pop culture. Now, Mr. Brainwash is turning his attention to the Queen once again. To mark what would have been Queen Elizabeth II’s centenary, the artist has created a striking new portrait featuring a young Elizabeth surrounded by his trademark slogans, colourful figures and graffiti-inspired tags.
