Jensen Beach Garden Club presented about a community project to build a public gazebo at Langford Park, provide covered outdoor seating. JBHS design competition, Tristan Zafini won. The project is supported through financial contributions, in-kind services, donated materials, volunteer labor, and technical expertise from community partners including Jensen Beach High School, SkillsUSA, the National Association of Home Builders, the Treasure Coast Builders Association, Professional Women in Building, N2 Architecture, and Martin County Parks and Recreation. This project supports the Parks and Recreation Master Plan, Goal 1: Maintain and Invest in Existing and New Facilities, by enhancing an existing County park amenity through community partnership and donated resources. Dept 7: County presentation regarding MC Operations facility, P3 process. SHIP Funding Now Available: State Housing Initiative Partnership (SHIP) funding is now available for owner-occupied rehabilitation (up to $75,000), emergency repairs (up to $20,000) and water/sewer hookup (up to $20,000).
