Kundrecensioner
A brilliant post modernist take on the neo-Stalinist tendencies of current continental discourse
While this, at times, somewhat digressive and frequently somnambulant in the later sections, podcast has some glaring audio issues, these need to be interpreted through the correct lens. In a Lacanian sense the hosts, the obvious brains behind the operation and avid train fanatic Jason - rarely seen in public without a hair bun that screams hipster credentials - and the voice, face and id representation Dave, apparently slated to be played by the always excellent Paul Giamatti in the movie version, break down the archetypes, ensuring that the random guests, people who seem to be pressured into taking part in this discussion about a subject so esoteric it borders on listening to Gilbert Gottfried reading the Code of Hammurabi in Akkadian. “You need to press the button”, the chide the guests. Yes. Press the button. Press it. You will be riveted. You will be confounded and at the end of the typical 27 hour episode, you will be exhausted.
Can’t wait for the next one.
Funny & conversational
Not great sound, too long episodes & sometimes all over the place, but despite the hosts' often expressed aversion to expanding their audience, I really like this podcast. It's genuine, funny, and unpredictable, while always giving good insights into the wargaming hobby.
