    WUC #5: An Unfiltered Perspective “Wake Up Calls” are lively conversations about anything and everything Spiritual! As always, we seek to bring awareness to the debilitating effects of our ego-minds (individual and collective) so that we can reduce their impact and allow our Souls to shine through and lead the way. How we see the world and respond to it is determined in large part by our filters and belief systems—many of which operate in the background out of the way of our conscious awareness. These can show up as biases and prejudices, many of which we may not even know about, but all of which affect the way we deal with situations. What happens when we identify our filters and biases and shine a light on them? What happens when we shift and widen our perspective with unfiltered vision? The answers to these questions may seem self-evident, but sadly most people on our planet don’t really take the time to act on the knowledge that is right in front of us. In episode #5, we’ll take a close look at the idea of perspective, with a non-judgmental accounting of our biases and filters, our intention being to clear and remove those filters so that we can respond to whatever the world throws at us from a place of love and compassion.
