    Jess is a runner and triathlete who recently took part in The Speed Project, a 553km relay between LA and Las Vegas with a team of amazing Women for Lululemon!
    Having had an imperfect race at the London Marathon in 2023, Jess decided to swap out her trainers for cleats for a while and feel in love with cycling, that coupled with a competitive swimming background lead her to qualify for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships  in New Zealand at the end of the year. 


    In this conversation Ben and Jess cover her experience out in the States, how her WhatsApp messages with her mates have changed over the years and how she’s feeling about the 70.3 Worlds.

    In her teenage years Becca lost her brother to Cancer, this lead her down the path of Medicine & ultimately also to question whether it was Medicine in the traditional sense that made her happy. 
    Having discovered running in Covid, Becca has gone on to complete countless races from 5Ks all the way up to her beloved ultra marathon and uses running, as many of us do to aid her mental health!
    In this conversation Ben & Becca talk about the power of saying ‘yes’, how a phone call allowed her to get her break into expedition medicine & how she deals with injury! (Which she was dealing with at the time of recording)

    James Cooper, a PT by trade in 2024 is running a marathon every single day. 
    Not content with a normal year James is running 366 daily marathons (thanks leap year) in aid of ‘The Samaritans’.


    After a difficult time with his mental health 10 years ago, he turned to running having never done it before and entered his first marathon. Since then he has completed an endurance challenge every year, from marathons, to ultras and triathlons, all to raise money for charities like ‘The Samaritans’ as well as raising awareness of his own initiative ‘Smilinggg’.
    In this conversation Ben and James chat about how you go about training for such a monumental challenge, what he fears and excites him and why you should really take the pressure off yourself if you’re just starting out on your running journey!
