The Victories of the Free Peoples of the World (Mehmet guests Resistance is Fertile))

September 13, 2026 Mehmet joined friends of the show Benji, Indi and Amy on Resistance is Fertile - one of our favorite podcasts. The quartet discussed Mehmet's political journey, the Kurdish question, Yemen's historic anti-colonial victories, Judaism/Zionism and more. Thanks to the kindness of the Resistance is Fertile gang, we are publishing this episode on our feed as well. Since the so called ceasefire in October 2025, the donations eroded significantly. and now it is threatening a halt in The Sameer Project's operations. For those of us with the means: It is incumbent upon us to make our solidarity consistent by subscribing for monthly donations. Do it now! Spread the word, dig where you stand. Solidarity

The wretched of the earth). Jag hoppas detta perspektiv är till nytta. /Erik

#44 The Antisemitism Nobody Wants To Explain with Lara Kilani from the Good Shepherd Collective

Lara Kilani from the Good Shepherd Collective joins Erik to discuss their recent article published on substack, "The Antisemitism Nobody Wants To Explain". Cowritten by Lara and Em Cohen. We discuss the qualitative and structural difference between Palestinian hostility towards their Jewish oppressors and white-supremacist antisemitism. A conflation often used to shut down dissent or filter discourse from Palestinans or the solidarity movement, and projecting hegemonic narratives onto oppressed peoples.   Support the Good Shepherd Collective with a subscription on their Substack (and get access to the article: https://thecall.ps/p/the-antisemitism-nobody-wants-to) or by a monthly donation on their website. Either way, check them out. Follow the Good Shepherd Collective on X at: https://x.com/Shepherds4Good   Since the so called ceasefire in October 2025, the donations eroded significantly. and now it is threatening a halt in The Sameer Project's operations. #43 Liberatory aid for Gaza with The Sameer Project's Lena and Hala

The brutal zionist genocide and starvation siege in Gaza continues.   The Sameer Project is a donations based aid initiative, led by Palestinians, working to supply emergency shelter and aid to displaced families in Gaza. With their almost 200 employees in Gaza and using whatever is available on the ground, they have managed to help thousands of Palestinians everyday in a consistent and dignified manner. This is something established international organizations failed to do, due to their reliance on external goods controlled by "Israel" and the "Israeli" permission they require to operate in Gaza among other things. The Sameer Project does not just distribute donations but build infrastructure like desalination plants and bakeries to turn the aid into sustainable stability.   We talked to co-founders Lena and Hala on why and how they started the project, what the current situation on the ground is and aid as politics.   Since the so called ceasefire in October 2025, the donations eroded significantly. and now it is threatening a halt in The Sameer Project's operations. For those of us with the means: It is incumbent upon us to make our solidarity consistent by subscribing for monthly donations. Do it now!   For more on The Sameer Project, including their booklet for fundraising here is their linktree.   You can follow them - on Twitter - on Instagram

#42 - Gaza, Beyond The Yellow Line with Mujamma Haraket

While the imperialist war on Iran is top of the agenda, the Zionist genocide in Gaza did not stop for a second. In this episode we talk to Mujamma Haraket, on the current political and military situation in Gaza, covering the "Board of Peace" and the so called ceasefire agreement, ongoing negotiations, the collaborator gangs, talks of disarmament and Hamas relinquishing its government. We continue with the role of external actors, specifically Iran, Qatar and Turkiye and then conclude with busting two common myths that keeps (re)circulating about Hamas: - "Israel f(o)unded Hamas." - "Israel let October 7th happen." Mujamma Haraket is an academic expert on Palestinian resistance history, especially the Islamic Resistance Movement, and political philosophy. Besides his academic expertise, Mujamma follows the developments in Gaza very closely and reports on them regularly on his twitter account @mujammaharaket. He also publishes archival and contemporary translations on Palestine on substack @mujammaharaket. The genocide in Gaza continues. We urge you to support the Palestinians in these very dire times by donating: via The Sameer Project via Lifeline4Gaza Follow us on UpScrolled  Or on instagram and twitter: https://x.com/fredshetsarna /Peacemongers
