Some of the most basic and empty and thoughtless analysis I have ever heard. Especially around the Middle East. Like phone it in, I get it, but such a base level of knowledge is laughable. Explains why Americans are so funny when they travel. Base level. Skip it.

We all know Americans, compared to Europeans are generally less educated and intelligent. In this pod you get to hear the select demographic who believe themselves to be above this, and rest of ‘muricuh. Having gone through basic education in a well function country the level is still too low, and the arrogance, US-centric attitude of the hosts is too much. It’s probably great for the “dumbasses” who believe the US to be the navel of the world - the rest of us should probably stay away.

Tommy and Ben are sharp and often witty hosts - current affairs intervowen with insights from their own years in the Obama admin, often with top people working on foreign policy issues. One of my favorite podcasts. Its great when they recommend books too.
