    The Drivers of our Chart

    In Astrology the Ascendant, Sun & Moon are called the 'Big 3", they are the basis of you chart and you can do a whole reading just looking at them in terms of their energy type, how they function, their rulers & condition of ruler and the houses they occupy in our chart. We can then add in any converstions/ aspects they may be having with each other, or not, or with any other planets in you chart. I see all this and most things I do as Energy, the energy types & modality are one of the basic fuctions or Astrology, and understand thing can help you understand your chart so much. The signs are divided into their energy types - fire, earth, air & water and then the way these energies operate, cardinal, fixed, mutable. In this episode we discuss all this and how you can use this as the basis of creating the story of you. Next week I will be going through some client/ chart examples to explain this in a more interactive way.     Our Life Force Energy - The Sun

    Continuing on in our Astrology Series we discuss the Sun in our Astrology Chart which completes the initial layer of our 'Big 3' in our Astrology Chart.  Most people know what sign the Sun is in their chart - but do they resonate with it?  To see a fuller picture we continue to add layers, starting with our Rising Sign/ Ascendant, our Moon sign, the Moon phase we were born under and then how and where we like to shine - this is our Sun. Just knowing these pieces of the puzzle helps us tune into our energy flow. Next week we are going to introduce the energy signature is our chart & how our big 3 work together.     The Phases of the Moon & You

    In my last podcast we discussed our natal moon and what it means. I hope it inspired you to find out or work more intimitely with you Natal Moon.  Now we add another element which is the magic, the phase of the Moon that you were born under. If you watch the Moon in the sky you will notice her changing size as she waxes & waned, going from full to new to full again. There are 8 main phases of the moon we work with and you were born under one of them. Adding the phase to your knowledge of your Natal Moon takes you deeper into understanding & embracing her. We can then start to track her through the skies & also through your progressed chart. Within a Solar Return reading I don't only touch on natal moon phase but we look at the moon phase you are currently in. It never ceases to amaze me the alignment.     The Moon in Astrology

    In this series we walk through the planets and what they represent in your Natal Chart. In this episode we discuss the Lunar Goddess - our Natal Moon, our lineage, our past, the unconscious, the Old Goddess.  We look at her different expressions through the signs and by how going deeper her we can bring about such deep healing & empathy for ourself. She represents our inner world that we don't show the world and a part we sometimes reject or hide away. She has by far been my biggest portal to self discovery on the 'why' I feel & react the way I do.     Self-trust & making an impact

    *Trigger Warning - this poddy discussed topics that may trigger others. In this poddy I reflect on a recent experience where I didn't feel I could make a difference so was going to stay silent and leave it to others that I deemed had a lounder voice to taket the lead. How often do we do this? Play small and de-value the impact that we can have in the day to day. In reality every choice, decision and action we do or don't do has an impact - its a ripple effect. Sometimes the in-action has a bigger impact than the action, turning a blind eye, passing on the responsibility to others? In reality if one person is impacted by your decision then it is enough, because the impact will continue to down the line. We are here to inspire and encourage, we are not here to determine the audience size - that's ego.     Why Inbodiment.

    Trigger warning - Topics such as Eating Disorders are discussed in this podcast. So why Inbodiment and is that how it is really spelt?  Well that is how I spell it and that is what is important. There is a reason why I spell it like that and why I still have The Inbodied Self as part of my business name.  Being Letitia & The Inbodied Self to me are very similar as it encapsulates my greatest desire for myself and for others and that is to be comfortable being who you are from a souls intent but also importantly in our physical bodies and all our humanness.  Being comfortable in my own skin is literally my biggest struggle, not only who I am and allowing myself to be seen authentically but also in my literal body.  Inbodiment is my process of just ‘being’, no filter, right here, right now, no matter what is happening externally. Knowing your own self and not trying to live up to the expectations of others and also importantly yourself. And also drawing a line in the sand to the past, not always needing to understand but just knowing there is a reason for your being. As always your support is welcome and I’m grateful for you all.     The Mask we Wear

    *Trigger warning I mention issues around mental health & disordered eating. In this episode I reflect on the different roles & labels we collect during our life and how we can become so overloaded by the responsibilities and trying to keep up with the image of ‘who we think we are’ we forget who we actually are. Consciously or  unconsciously keeping ourselves busy give us the excuse to follow through on our own inner healing & dreams. As my family continues to navigate the mental health issue & disordered eating of my child as we bring in a team of specialists I have been able to hand over some responsibility and become ‘just mum’ - its been liberating but has also made me deal with some of my own issues from my childhood and own disordered eating patterns. On top of that forced rest ‘thank you universe’ has left me with a lot more time for reflection & connection. It’s been an interesting time.     Being comfortable in my own skin

    *Trigger Warning* This Podcast includes topics such as disordered eating, mental health issues & childhood trauma, it is part of my journey and a big part of my Spiritual self. In many ways it is my WHY and condtinues to playout in surprising ways with my daily life. I make no apologies for my past and am more curious than surprised at how life plays out and what comes my way, I don't fight it, I don't always like it but I do try to treat myself with as much grace as possible. I developed and eating disorder in my teens through massive trauma that was playing behind closed doors that made me want to dissassociate from my body, embracing my gifts, discovering Astrology, the Kabbalah have been the biggest instigagtor in my on-going & ever evolving healing journey. I have a child that suffers from chronic Anxiety & Depression and has always had a love/ hate relationship with food, and now unfortunatley has fallen into disordered Eating. I now get to hold her and she gets to hold me as we do this together, in someways I am now getting the healing and support that I didn't get earlier. Life is beautiful and I embrace my humanness more and more everyday for the gift it is. Please know help is available - reach out.     Ep 02 - Meeting my Inner Child again.

    Trigger Warning - This podcast discusses issues like mental health, anxiety, addictions & disordered eating. The journey to healing is not linear nor do I believe it has a final destination - sorry not sorry! There are just more layers to unravel and go deeper to know yourself and find a sense of peace in the now.  In this podcast I continue to explore my journey, my relationship with my body and how my Spirituality has helped me navigate traumas, mental health issues, my eating disorder & connection to my body. As I get older I develop a deeper sense of awe at all that i have navigated and my ability to be curious rather and lean in when life gets chaotic rather then leaning out and disconnecting like I did in my teens. Here I talk about recent memories that have been triggered from watching my child navigate her own mental health issues and how my inner childe is talking to me in a new way.     Welcome to the being_letitia podcast

    * This podcast will touch on subjects that can be triggering, including disordered eating, please be aware of this before listening. I see myself as a storyteller with seven planets in air signs being in my head, observing, creating through words has always been part of who I am. The mind & the land of imagination is unlimited and to be able to express myself in a longer format has been a long held dream of mine. Yet the monkey mind, fear of BEING SEEN got in the way far too long. I am an intuitive, Astrologer, Human Design Reader, Mum, Wife, Business Owner, and as I said a Storyteller.
