    Episode 160: The Bunyip:

    Send us Fan Mail Long before written history found it's way to the land down under natives had been passing down the oral history of a strange creature that may or may not have existed.  Descriptions of this creature are all over the board, some reports say it has a dog like face, while others say it has an emu like head, while other still claim it to be crocodilian in nature.  When colonizers showed up, they figured it was just another animal for them to discover in this new land.     Episode 159: The Gray Man:

    Send us Fan Mail Down on the South Carolina coast there are islands, and a lot of them. Many of them were rice plantations where the Gullah Geechee culture was born and floruished. While the enslaved were working, their captors took off to another island to avoid the mosquitos, Pawleys Island.  Here they spent their summers and to this day this island is a summer haven for people to escape the busy city life. And since then their have been tales of ghosts who walk those shores.  Most notably the Gray Man. There are a few origin stories for this apparition, most revolve around a young man who came to see his girlfriend, and drowned in a marsh.     Episode 158: Strange Sounds Heard Across the Globe:

    Send us Fan Mail I had planned to just cover the Taos Hum this week but it would have been a seriously short episode so I found a few more sounds to cover.  The Taos Hum is not the only strange sound that residents hear. Across the globe several areas have a hum that a small portion of the population can hear.     Send us Fan Mail We are headed one mile above sea level this week as we head to Colorado to take a look at one of the most talked about airports in the world.  Said to be home to miles of underground tunnels, bunkers for the elite, even alien breeding programs, the Denver Airport does not shy away from the conspiracy theories. For those of us old enough to remember, hearing the word Waco brings up memories of seeing that fire rage on the evening news.  But things for the Branch Davidians started back in the 1930's. One man took a group of his followers to Waco Texas where he set up his own twisted version of the Seventh Day Adventist.     Episode 153: The Adze:

    Send us Fan Mail Ian takes us to the mother land this week to tell us the legend of a spirit that takes a form most of us would not think twice about.  As summer sweeps across the US fireflies, or lightening bugs, are out light up the night. For many of us we have memories of going out to catch them and put them in jars to keep in our rooms over night.  This is probably not something they do in Togo and Benin, and Ghana, where they have a legend of a vampiric entity. This thing takes the form of a firefly to find it's way into a house, then it takes human form to possess someone.  Like many places legends like these are made to explain the unexplainable.
