Bloody brilliant..!

Doing a fictionalized podcast might seem strange to some peole, but I'm glad that great dramatic series are on its way back in podcast form. Enter Video Palace - a podcast that managed to creep me out worse than I ever thought it would. Not only that but it also features a very well written story, great voice acting from a incredible cast and a sound design that is out of this world.

They even manage to work it into the real world with references to real life people talking about the mystical "White Tapes". People such as Adam Green (director of Hatchet, Frozen, etc) and that makes everything more grounded, more believable . They even work in David Friendman (if I'm not completely crazy it's H.G Lewis producer of "Blood Feast" (1963) fame) into the story in a tiny way - how awesome is that!?
This series is put together by fans of the horror genre. For crying out loud they reference the lesser known Chester Novell Turnuer movie - "Tales from the Quadedzone" (1987). These people know what they're talking about.
With a great pace from start to finish Video Palace is one of my absolute podcasts ever - no doubt about it. It starts right of the bat and doesn't drag for one bit.
With some great humor that made me laugh quite a bit and some really good scares that sent chills down my spine I can't say anything less than give this series a chance - you won't regret it for a second.

And again - that brilliant siundtrack and sound design. I can't applaud it enough.
