    Why Literacy Is Important  Season 3 Episode 6 In this episode of Beneath The Surface I discuss the literacy crisis in the United States.  I talk a little bit about some trends of literacy that came about when I was in High School, my thoughts on how we are seeing some of the consequences of those trends.
