At just 22 years old, Marcelo Palomino has already left an indelible mark on the sport, representing the youth USA national team, gracing the pitches of Major League Soccer with the Houston Dynamo, and now, embarking on a new chapter in the Superettan league in Sweden.

Marcelo Palomino is a 22 year old professional soccer player from Houston, Texas. He is currently playing for GIF Sundsvall in Sweden’s 2nd tier, Superettan. After spending his whole youth career with Houston Dynamo, and even making his MLS debut at 19 years old, Marcelo had a few untimely injuries that set him back in Houston. He went on to play one season with Charlotte Independence in the USL Championship followed by one season with Houston Dynamo’s MLS next squad. Marcelo refused to let adversity dampen his spirit. Instead, he viewed these challenges as opportunities for growth and self-discovery. Sensing the call of destiny and fueled by an unyielding desire to reach the pinnacle of European soccer, Marcelo made the courageous decision to pursue his dream abroad. He first signed with AFC Eskilstuna in Sweden’s 2nd tier scoring 5 goals and 3 assist in his first season abroad. This season he is playing for GIF Sundsvall, who are pushing for promotion in to Sweden’s top tier of football.

Johan Gómez is a 22 year old professional soccer player from Texas, currently playing for Eintracht Braunschweig in the 2nd Bundesliga. Having known he wanted to test his abilities in Europe, Johan ventured to Porto after several trials around Europe, eventually joining their u19 setup and B team one year after the other. A testing time for the young striker, who reveals some of his lowest and most humbling moments struck there. But it certainly didn’t stop the dream, moving to east Germany to join FSV Zwickau (and American coach and former guest Joe Enochs) in the 3rd Bundesliga. Two seasons, 6 goals in each, helped Johan get the move to the blue and yellow Eintracht Braunschweig. At just 22 years of age, the only limit is the sky.
We speak on his transformation as a player, the amazing and testing moments at Porto, how German football has improved his abilities, the pressures and demands of the 2nd Bundesliga, USMNT, tactical elements and where he fits in at Braunschweig, hoping to one day play with his brother Jonathan Gómez, relegation battles, overthinking vs analyzing, measuring himself as a player and so so much more. Marcus Urban is currently the head of education of coaching at 1. FC Union Berlin. Having spent years traveling the world, Marcus realized he was fascinated by football development in different countries. He knew that his goal was to work in football but the question was how could he best utilize his talents and carve his own way. A student of the game, he’s used his travels to take knowledge from (examples of where he’s worked or been) all with the determination to become a master of his craft. He realized that he could become a more complete teacher by adding in (a degree in sports science), brain kinetics degree and much more. We explore Union Berlin, the positives and negatives of German and other countries and their football development, the state of German football, becoming a complete coach, and fostering better players and people. Kayla Fernandez is a professional footballer for Atlas FC in the Liga MX Femenil, Mexico's first tier. After teaming up with her two sisters at Tulsa University, Kayla decided to venture into a new country and environment. Guadalajara has been the starting point to her professional career and hopefully helps her get back to the Mexican national team, for which she has already featured for in various youth setups. Ivan Klasnić is a former professional footballer and current football agent. Having rose through the ranks at the famous FC St. Pauli, and helping them promote to the first bundesliga, Ivan transferred an hour southwest to Werder Bremen. There, he was a pivotal piece in a very successful period for the white and green; including a winning the battle for the double (Bundesliga & Pokal) at the end of the 2003-04 season. He would also join the Croatian national team at two European Championships and the 2006 World Cup in Germany. Off the field, Ivan would face his greatest and most challenging battle. In 2007, Ivan would have two kidney transplants, one from his mother and then one from his father.
