The DaddioK Chronicles: Fun, Calming Stories for Kids (Bedtime & Anytime) Short, engaging kids stories to entertain, calm, and connect—whether it’s bedtime, the dinner table, or total chaos. I’m DaddioK, a dad of three making up stories in all the time, often inspired by whatever my kids throw at me or something that sparked my imagination that day. Each episode is fun, imaginative, sometimes a little silly (or gross), and designed to grab attention fast—then gently bring the energy down. Good for ages 3–10 or older. New stories weekly.

Meet Mergatroid — a fuzzy brown spider with eight hairy legs, a round little tummy, and a serious talent for spinning webs. He doesn't know he's creepy. He doesn't know he's scary. He's just looking for the best corner to spin a web and get the best bugs. But when giants start shrieking and things start falling from the sky, Mergatroid has to figure out this big, loud world — and whether any of these enormous creatures might actually be... kind. Inspired by the name my dad gave every spider he ever met, this is a story about seeing the world through tiny eyes, finding where you belong, and learning that not everyone is the same. A new DaddioK original, inspired by my shrieking kids and my kindly ole daddio.

    For ages, the rock sat at the top of the hill—watching the forest below. One day, it decides to do something about it. What follows is a quiet story about curiosity, courage, and the moment you finally choose to move—after standing still for far too long. A short, original audio story about desire for connection, change, and taking the first step. Themes: growth, curiosity, courage, connection.
