The Game Awards 2022!

Hello everyone and welcome back. It's that time of year again, It's the annual Game Awards. But before we talk about that we go over what we've been doing since last time. We talk about Spider-Man, the new Sonic game, Overwatch 2(again), and even the new Pokémon game. We are back!!

WE ARE BACK! Hey everyone and welcome back to another great episode of ExtraLife. We took a short break, but now we are back and ready to deliver some amazing content. To start things off we go over some of the stuff we've been doing over the last couple of weeks. Lots of Overwatch 2 and just new games in general. As always following up with some news for the week. New Mario movie is in the works, and we have some choice words about a certain voice actor and of course a key part of Mario that is missing. Next, we talk about CD project red and the revival of CyberPunk 2077. We also go a little more into detail about their roadmaps and other projects they're working on. We go into detail about Overwatch 2s horrible launch and talk about Activision Blizzard still being a horrible company. To round off the news we dive into Raven Software QA, Bayonetta voice actor, Hideki Kamiya, and lastly the Metaverse. To get into the spirit of Halloween, todays big topic is all about horror games. We talk about the uprising in horror games that pushed peoples' careers on YouTube and go over some of our favorites as well. Are Indie games the new meta?

Do You Even Game, Bro?

Happy New Year and welcome to 2022! Today's episode is a special one... our normal host Hatty is on vacation, so we brought in my good friend Urc to cover. To begin this episode, we touched on Samauri Warriors 5, along with a surprise review on Football Manager (Xbox edition). Following that, we discussed Tencent Holdings settlement, we go over IGN's revised top 100 games of all time and cover an interesting formal investigation on Tesla. Next, we take a deep dive into the idea of gaming culture- the good, the bad, and the ugly. We discuss ways in which we can improve ourselves as a community and we speak about what it was like growing up being labeled as a "gamer." We'll be going over our favorite Mons, Gen tier list, best/worst gens, and what lies ahead for the franchise.
