"Sounds from the Cellar" is a podcast created by the Olive Tree Madmen, a New York City-based live band that plays every Monday night from 9pm to midnight at the Olive Tree Café (the restaurant above the famous Comedy Cellar). Each episode features the band in conversation with a special guest artist, who is not allowed to leave without performing a few songs with the band.

    The Season One finale of Sounds From The Cellar. Our guest is the incomparable, Lalah Hathaway. Ms. Lalah is undoubtedly one of the greatest singers, interpreters and vocal technicians of this or any generation. Hailing from musical royalty, she has blazed her own legendary trail with a career that boasts as much variety as it does longevity. We talk about growing up in a household with musical powerhouse parents, her diverse musical interests, that famous performance when she sang a chord with her voice(!!!!) with Snarky Puppy, new levels of confidence, her upcoming record and much more.
