違憲状態１１件、合憲５件　「１票の格差」判決出そろう―７月参院選、最高裁が統一判断へ

７月参院選の「１票の格差」を巡る広島高裁の判決後、「違憲状態」などと書かれた紙を掲げる升永英俊弁護士ら、２５日午後、広島市中区「１票の格差」が最大３．１３倍だった７月の参院選は投票価値の平等に反して違憲だとして、二つの弁護士グループが全国１４の高裁・支部に選挙無効を求めた計１６件の訴訟の判決が２５日、出そろった。 Hiroshima High Court ruled on Tuesday that the July election for Japan's House of Councillors was held in a state of unconstitutionality, the last in a series of judgments in 16 lawsuits filed by two groups of lawyers across the country over the Upper House poll.
