A Dancers Perspective

Chavonne Burgin

Welcome to the Podcast channel of A Dancers Perspective where we provide a platform for dancers and performers to talk about their perspectives and experiences in the industry. Our guests will include a variety of performers that are at different stages of their career and dive into their perspectives on  topics such as  training, auditioning processes, their gig life and work and how they have navigated the industry. This platform is not another self help platform where we give you the cookie cutter step by step plans on becoming a professional dancer but rather provide a community. A community where we bring together dancers to talk about their experiences that can help you feel like you're not the only one thinking a certain way  and also help provide you insight on certain topics that can help encourage you on your own professional journey. If you have a topic that you would like to hear someone's perspective on or you think you have a pretty interesting perspective get in touch!

Send us a text Welcome to a new chapter of A Dancer’s Perspective Podcast. Season Two is officially here, and we’re introducing a new segment that follows Chavonne and Jesse’s real-time journey toward becoming mentally stronger performers. In this week’s episode, they sit down to talk about stepping into a new year with a new perspective — what that actually means, why perspective matters, and the practical inner work they’re committing to as dancers in a demanding industry. This segment is a raw documentation of their journey, shared honestly in the hope of reminding dancers that they’re not alone, and to spark deeper conversations around mental strength and mental health in the dance world.
