Going into the game at Stamford Bridge two points ahead of West Ham United and with a much better goal difference, we knew one draw from our final two matches against Chelsea and Everton would pretty much do the job, we discuss with the guys the phycological pressure going into the final day, playing at home, where we have only won two league games all season. We discuss our concerns of both where the goals are coming from, and the nature of how we are conceding goals from continuous individual errors. The panel also reflect on the bonkers moment towards the end of the game, where Cucurella dragged Micky van de Ven to the ground and was booked. Spurs were stunned not to get a penalty but referee Stuart Attwell claimed to have blown the whistle before Mathys Tel's corner was taken. Liam Delap was then booked for blatant elbow. James Maddison was livid and lambasted the referee immediately after the full time whistle, closely followed by Roberto De Zerbi who also wasn’t happy. It lead us into the conversation as to whether we feel Spurs are being refereed differently to other teams this season.
