    It was a long awaited pleasure to catch up with Mammoth and To Whom It May guitarist Jon Jourdan and get the backgrounds on his past and present crew of pit bulls. We get introduced to his current dog Mucca, a 6 or 7 year old rescued bait dog, and pay tribute to his previous dogs Nelson and Luna who each have their own rescue sagas. We also dive into his Instagram page @tourpups where Jon shares photos of the dogs (aka "angel babies) he meets while touring the world. "Hard Cora" whose DNA test came in right after our recording and listed her as 73.4% American Bully, 20.8% Bulldog and 5.8% Frenchie. Great talk that covers how not every foster to adopt works out, Stephen's time in New York City as a dog walker and the challenges of being a vegan as a teen in the mid 90's. Fred introduces us to his "soul mate" Penelope, a 16 year old Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier mix, and Wally, a 12 year old mystery mutt perceived as "unrescuable" by the shelter. We also touch upon on Sammie who crossed the rainbow bridge a few years back. A lot of great stories and insights on animal advocacy, fellow dog loving peers and the benefits of studio dogs.     This week we're talking to musical artist and now music insider Evan Winiker who started as a bassist for the band Steel Train before pivoting to music management as the founder and managing partner at Range Music. Evan introduces us to his Cocker Spaniel Charles who healed his heart after the tragic and sudden loss of his first dog Henry. Driven by that loss, Evan established The Henry Foundation for Dog Care, a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring all dogs have access to essential veterinary care. Great talk with an empathetic dog guy who's making a positive impact for dogs in need.
