Analysts note that the current quarter outlook was soft but they are positive about the business transitioning to a more durable operation.- Datadog (DDOG) is falling after the software company posted an adjusted gross margin for the second quarter that trailed the average analyst estimate.- Honeywell Aerospace (HONA) shares plunged after an unexpected reduction in its outlook startled investors just weeks after the supplier began operating as an independent company. Supply chain issues will keep sales growth to 4-5% this year on an organic basis, roughly half of its prior forecast.     Celsius Slumps, SoundHound Soars, MetLife Jumps on Underwriting, Volume Growth

    On this episode of Stock Movers: -Celsius Holdings Inc. (CELH) shares tumbled after the energy drink maker’s second-quarter revenue missed expectations as competition hurt sales of its namesake brand. The company’s revenue grew 11% to $817.9 million from a year earlier, missing the $872.6 million average estimate, and revenue for the Celsius line fell 12%. -SoundHound (SOUN) shares soar after the software company reported better-than-expected second-quarter revenue. D.A. Davidson analyst Gil Luria says the company “reported a strong quarter delivering revenue well ahead of expectations.” -MetLife (MET) shares jump after second-quarter earnings surpassed Wall Street’s expectations. They were boosted by strong underwriting, volume growth and the success of a five-year plan outlined in late 2024. Adjusted earnings per share climbed about 20% to $2.43 from a year ago, exceeding the $2.30 average estimate of analysts surveyed by Bloomberg.     Moderna Drops, DoorDash Rises, Honeywell Plunges as Surprise Guidance Cut Alarms Wall Street

    On this episode of Stock Movers:- Moderna (MRNA) shares drop. Moderna Inc. won US regulatory approval for a flu vaccine based on mRNA technology, called mFlusiva, for adults aged 50 and over. The immunization received a traditional approval for patients between the ages of 50 and 64, and an accelerated approval for those 65 and older. A post-marketing clinical trial will be required to confirm the vaccine’s benefit in people 65 and over, and supply is expected to be available in select retailers in the coming weeks. - DoorDash (DASH) shares rise. DoorDash issued a profit forecast that topped analysts’ expectations, citing a boom in paying subscribers who tend to order takeout and groceries more frequently than non-members. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization will be $950 million to $1.1 billion in the quarter ending in September, with the midpoint of that range well above the average Bloomberg-compiled analyst estimate. - Honeywell Aerospace Inc.
