    Neil deGrasse Tyson Answers Katee's Questions About the Universe

    Hi Everyone! What better way to celebrate the holidays than having a conversation about space? If you love science— or if you're like me and you find it overwhelming— you're going to really enjoy this episode! Neil deGrasse Tyson has made a career out of teaching everyday people about the extraordinary true story of the universe. He has a new book out called Just Visiting This Planet, Revised and Updated for the Twenty-First Century: Further Scientific Adventures of Merlin from Omniscia, which I read and loved. In the book, Tyson plays a slightly snarky, all-knowing character named Merlin, who answers your big, nerdy science questions. He is also co-host of the StarTalk Podcast and regularly weighs in on the science (or sketchy science) of your favorite show. It was an honor and a delight to talk with Dr. Tyson and I have to say that as someone who has always been intimidated by science, he actually did make it accessible and fun!     Todd Stashwick Talks Star Trek: Picard, VisionQuest, 12 Monkeys, D&D and More

If you don't know Todd, he plays Deacon on 12 Monkeys and Captain Liam Shaw on Star Trek: Picard, among many other roles. He is also playing Palladin in the upcoming VisionQuest from creator Terry Matalas. Todd is a brilliant actor and a true nerd and we have so much fun in this conversation. We talk about how he got from doing comedy at Second City to playing killers on TV.     Katee Catches Up With Her TV Husband Michael Trucco

    Hi everyone, happy Tuesday! You didn't think I could keep Michael Trucco away for long, did you? The last time I had Michael on the show, it was audio-only, so if you've been dying to see his beautiful face, today's your lucky day! I first met Michael on Battlestar where he played Samuel T. Anders, but we have stayed close over the years. As an actor, he has been on a role recently— you may have seen him as Sean Del Monte in The Rookie, Luke Leone on Fire Country, or in one of Mike Flanagan's recent projects, from Life of Chuck, to Fall of the House of Usher, to Midnight Mass.     Skeet Ulrich on Scream, Riverdale and Five Nights At Freddy's 2

    Happy Tuesday! I have been looking forward to interviewing this week's guest for a long time and I am so happy we were finally able to get him on the show. This week I'm talking with none other than Skeet Ulrich! I have been a fan of Skeet's work since he played Billy Loomis in Scream and Chris Hooker in The Craft. You may also know him from Riverdale, where he played FP Jones, or from roles in As Good As It Gets, Jericho, Law & Order: LA and many others. He is one of those actors that is able to make you absolutely fall in love with his characters, even ones that are twisted or a little out there! I really enjoyed getting to know Skeet a little better. In addition to his love of acting, we also talk about his other life as a carpenter and the insights he has from raising twins as a single dad. Lastly, we have so much fun talking about the new Five Nights At Freddy's movie and the raucous panels Skeet has been doing at conventions with his co-star Matthew Lillard.     Ernie Hudson Knew Ghostbusters Was Something Special

    Hi everyone, Happy Tuesday! This year, I dressed up as the Marshmallow Man for Halloween, so it's only fitting that I have Ernie Hudson on the show this week! Ernie famously played Winston Zeddmore in Ghostbusters. He has also appeared in many, many other projects, including films like The Crow, Airheads and Miss Congeniality and on TV on Oz, Grace and Frankie, LA's Finest and most recently as L. C. Duncan in The Family Business. It was such an honor to sit down with Ernie and we immediately got along. We talk about his childhood and the emotional moment last year when the street he grew up on was renamed in his honor. We also get into the inner strength he's developed riding the highs and lows of an almost 60 year (!) career in show business.     James Callis Talks Battlestar, Gaius Baltar and Why Playing Bad Guys is Fun

    Happy Tuesday, Everyone! I can't believe it's taken this long, but this week I am finally talking to my friend and Battlestar legend James Callis! On Battlestar, James played Dr. Gaius Baltar. He is also known for playing best friend Tom in the Bridget Jones' Diary movies, as well as appearances in Star Trek: Picard, 12 Monkeys, Arrow and most recently as Claude Whelan in Slow Horses. James was an intimidating person for me to interview — he's so smart about acting (and about everything else) and he plays a really good bad guy— but in this conversation, you get to see his goofy side and his tender side too. James is an incredible dad and I loved getting to talk to him about how fatherhood helps him keep the nonsense of life on set in perspective. He has also worked with some of the greatest actors of all time and we discuss what traits Gary Oldman, Kristin Scott Thomas, Peter O'Toole and Omar Sharif all have in common. I thoroughly enjoyed this conversation and I'm so happy I got to see James in person!
