    Hour 1 We are fired up for game 1 of the World Series tonight. This is going to be an offensive series for sure. Gerrit Cole is paid to be the best pitcher in baseball. This is why he’s here, for this very game. Will the Yankees be able to score as many runs as the Dodgers? Aaron Judge needs to be Aaron Judge. Boomer said the Yankees need 6 full innings from Cole. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with the sounds of some Yankees players talking about playing in the World Series. Boomer predicted, ‘Ohtani goes yard in his first at bat’. The Rams beat the Vikings and Jerry has the sound as Matthew Stafford threw 4 TDs. There was a facemask in the endzone that was not called and that sealed the win for the Rams. In the final segment of the hour, a caller said Boomer is sounding like he wants the Yankees to lose. Boomer said Yankees fans are so sensitive. Hour 2 The only outcome that would surprise Gio in this World Series would be a Yankees sweep. Gio said Dodgers in six. The Dodgers will be wearing a Fernando Valenzuela patch. Boomer said it’s going to be high scoring, close games with lots of home runs. We took a bunch of calls from Yankees fans and one woman who listens to Boomer’s sports minutes in the shower. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of Adam Schein getting ready for the World Series. Jerry has audio of Anthony Volpe as a high school kid saying he wanted to one day play for the Yankees. The Rams beat the Vikings as Matthew Stafford threw 4 TDs. Nikki Glaser had another roast after the game and it’s just not working because it feels very forced. Cap in the digital department put together a Boomer A-I rap that was pretty good. In the final segment of the hour, Boomer said we should be talking about the new Mr. October, Giancarlo Stanton. Boomer said the Yankees better not walk a lot of hitters and need to be smart when on the basepaths. Hour 3 Eddie is not here today because he’s working the cash register at a yarn event for his wife. We talked about some dark horse candidates for World Series MVP for the Yankees. We talked more about the non-call facemask on Sam Darnold for a safety that sealed the win for the Rams. Jerry returns for an update but first Boomer tells us it’s Juan Soto’s 26th birthday. Jerry has audio from some of the players as they look forward to game 1 of the World Series tonight. Judge was asked if he talked to Soto about free agency. Cole was asked the same thing. The Rams beat the Vikings as Matthew Stafford threw 4 TDs. Charles Barkley has had it with Joel Embiid resting. Shaq was on the Angel Reese podcast and they talked about WNBA salaries. He thinks they need to lower the rim for dunking. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about our terrible records for NFL picks. We also talked about the Jets and the Patriots and if the Patriots will play tough this week because they were called out by their head coach. Hour 4 It feels like we have been waiting forever for this World Series to get underway and we got the two best teams in baseball. We expect all sorts of offensive fireworks and high scoring games in this series. Gerrit Cole needs to shut down this lineup as long as he can tonight. Bleacher Creature Matt calls in and is not happy that they are being priced out. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and starts with the sounds of some Yankee players talking about the World Series starting tonight. Todd Downing talked about getting through the interception issues Aaron Rodgers has had lately. Skip Bayless talked to us about his colonoscopy. The Moment of The Day: A fired up Adam Schein sounds like he’s underwater as he’s pumped for Yankees/Dodgers. In the final segment of the week, our NFL Picks! (we have been terrible).
