Locked Out, Called Out, and Thrown Into the Spotlight

In this episode of A-Squared Ramblers, hosts Alex and Adriana dive into everything from movie sequels and strong opinions to line dancing pressure and accidental chaos. Alex shares his thoughts after seeing The Devil Wears Prada 2, while Adriana reflects on why nostalgia-driven sequels can still pull audiences back in years later. The conversation quickly spirals into debates about opinions, personal experiences, and why people love telling others what they can and can’t speak on. The duo also unpack workplace conversations about drinking culture, customer service expectations, and how personal experiences shape the way we view other people. From restaurant tipping culture to differing perspectives on longtime acquaintances, the episode explores how two people can walk away from the same situation with completely different impressions. Meanwhile, Alex gives a full update on his growing Nashville line dancing adventures, including late nights at the Nashville Palace, Category 10 spotlight dances, and the nerve-wracking experience of stepping into the center of the dance floor while balconies full of people watch. Adriana and Alex also debate whether Broadway dance floors should prioritize spectacle or simply let everyone dance freely regardless of skill level. To top it all off, the episode wraps with stories about getting locked out of the house before a game, technical podcast mishaps, and the reality of trying to keep a weekly show running smoothly when technology decides otherwise. From tourist expectations to advanced line dancing circles, this episode truly lives up to the A-Squared Ramblers spirit of fitting into anywhere but a box.

Biopsies, Boot Scootin’, and Becoming a Nashville Regular

In this episode of A-Squared Ramblers, hosts Alex and Adriana dive into a surprisingly personal conversation about health, confidence, and finding community in unexpected places. Alex opens up about his ongoing battle with eczema, the frustrating trial-and-error journey through dermatology treatments, allergy testing, prescription medications, biopsies, and the challenge of trying to pinpoint what’s actually triggering his skin flare-ups. From protein powders and Greek yogurt theories to sweat, humidity, pet dander, and Nashville summers, the two unpack just how complicated health and wellness journeys can become. The conversation then shifts into the ever-growing world of line dancing, where Alex reflects on how Nashville’s dance community has unexpectedly helped him feel more connected to the city and more at home after a season of major life changes. From becoming a regular at the Nashville Palace to getting compliments on the dance floor, debating Boise line dancing scenes, and narrowly missing a meetup with a former coworker, the episode explores how hobbies can slowly evolve into confidence, friendships, and genuine belonging. Plus: Category 10 jealousy, dance instructor appreciation, sweaty dance floor struggles, and Spring Creek line dancing dreams.

Dust Storms, Bird Sanctuaries, and Line Dancing Outside My Zip Code

In this episode of A-Squared Ramblers, hosts Alex and Adriana recap a whirlwind week filled with unexpected travel, small-town charm, and a few reality checks along the way. Adriana shares stories from the T-ball field, where dirt piles, wandering attention spans, and imaginative kids stealing the spotlight made for a chaotic but memorable set of games. From feeding imaginary lizards to building full-blown dust storms, it’s a reminder that sometimes the game isn’t the main event. She also recaps a cozy book club gathering, complete with home-cooked meals, thoughtful gifts, and a renewed appreciation for slowing things down, even when life gets busy. Meanwhile, Alex checks in from Southwest Idaho, reflecting on the flexibility of remote work and taking advantage of the opportunity to explore a new line dancing scene. After turning to AI for recommendations, he heads out for a night on the dance floor, only to realize just how spoiled he’s become by Nashville’s high-caliber instructors. What follows is a mix of appreciation, frustration, and a deeper understanding of what makes a great class, all while continuing to lean into his growing obsession with line dancing. From backyard bird sanctuaries and overfed squirrels to cross-country dance floors and travel mishaps, this episode blends humor, reflection, and a little bit of chaos as Alex and Adriana prove once again that they can fit into anywhere but a box.

From Finish Line to Flash Mob: How a 10K Turned Into a Line Dance Takeover

In this episode of A-Squared Ramblers, Alex recaps his experience running the St. Jude Rock ‘n’ Roll 10K in Nashville, from near-perfect race conditions to beating last year’s time by just five seconds. But what started as a morning race turned into a full-day adventure, complete with post-run traditions, people-watching, and an unexpected dive into Nashville’s line dancing scene. After sticking around downtown, Alex finds himself pulled into a “flash mob” style line dance event tied to an upcoming Nashville dance festival. What follows is a mix of beginner-friendly routines, a humbling attempt at more advanced dances, and even a run-in with a local line dancing influencer. The episode wraps with reflections on fitness goals, the balance between running and strength training, and how living in Nashville is slowly (but surely) shaping new hobbies… and maybe even an accent.

From Beginner to Broadway: My Line Dancing Takeover Era

In this episode of A-Squared Ramblers, hosts Alex and Adriana catch up on a week that fully leaned into celebration, self-growth, and a whole lot of line dancing. After Adriana’s birthday the week prior, it was Alex’s turn to celebrate, kicking things off with a solo birthday dinner before heading out to the Nashville Palace for a packed night on the dance floor. What started as a casual interest has quickly turned into something more. Alex shares how multiple nights out across different venues, including a deep dive into Broadway Nashville and the high-energy scene at Category 10 Nashville, have pushed his confidence and skill level forward in a big way. From beginner-friendly lessons to observing advanced dancers and even getting stopped by strangers for compliments, it’s clear this hobby is turning into a full-blown era. The two also explore how line dancing varies by region, the differences between traditional dance halls and modern Broadway venues, and the balance between live music and instruction. Along the way, there’s talk of cowboy boots vs. sneakers, navigating crowded dance floors, and what it really takes to go from learning the basics to chasing the advanced side of the floor. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or someone just thinking about stepping out of your comfort zone, this episode is all about leaning into something new and seeing where it takes you.

Moving Chaos, Moose Sightings, and AI Taking Over

In this episode of A-Squared Ramblers, Alex and Adriana jump into the chaos of moving week. With a tight deadline looming, Alex is balancing packing, coordinating movers, and figuring out how to make a new apartment actually feel like home. From furniture decisions to layout challenges, it is a real look at what goes into resetting your space while trying to stay sane. The conversation then shifts to a recent work trip to Maine, where things took a much more unexpected turn. What starts as a simple conversation about organizing spaces turns into a bigger discussion about how people are using AI for real-world problems, and what that might mean going forward.
