#2 - Who am I? The clash of Asian vs. American values while navigating early 20s self identity crisis

Who am I? The early 20s can be a confusing balancing act between different cultural expectations, values, and pressures as newly formed adults attempt to piece together where they stand in the world. Jenny and Emily reflect on their self identity and the push and pull of growing up in environments touched by both Asian and American values. Emily flew across the ocean to Japan for a soul searching trip and found herself more confused. Jenny discovered that being compared to your 3rd cousin from your 4th aunt wasn't normal. --- Have an idea you've been thinking about or topic suggestion? #1 - Where'd my friends go? Expectations vs. realities after college

Starting a new life chapter also means turning the page to new and different friendships. Sometimes, that means letting go of someone you thought you'd be friends forever with, or finding chemistry with someone completely unexpected. Emily and Jenny sit with a jank mic setup and talk about how their friendships have changed since graduating from college to the life of working adults. We discover the origin story of their friendship (where Emily accidentally ghosts Jenny on Slack) and Emily's tendency to mistreat herself with cheap beans. --- Have an idea you've been thinking about or topic suggestion?
