    Today Stephanie Gilliam discusses Helping Children Develop a Faith of their Own with Nic Allen. Nic Allen serves as Director of Strategic Partnerships with Justice and Mercy International. A pastor since 2001, Nic has spent more than two decades helping people grow in their faith and live out the truth of the gospel in everyday life. He has been married since 2000 and became a dad in 2006—roles he considers among the most important callings of his life. Nic is also a writer and occasional blogger whose work centers around a theme he calls “Volume Speaks Value.” The idea is simple: the things we speak about most loudly and most often reveal what matters most to us. Through his writing and ministry, Nic seeks to keep the focus on what matters most—truth, faith, and family. Whether serving in ministry leadership, building partnerships for global justice efforts, or sharing reflections through writing, Nic’s passion is to ensure that the loudest and most frequent messages in his life point people toward what truly matters.

Dr. Roger Mardis has served as President of ⁠Friends of Nazareth⁠ (FON) since 2018, following 36 years in pastoral ministry. He enjoys sharing how God is at work in Nazareth and how others can be involved. He and his wife, Michelle, live in Florence, Alabama, and have four married children and seven grandchildren. Roger has pastored churches in four states, founded Agape Baptist Church in Scottsboro, AL, and holds degrees from the University of North Alabama and Mid-America Seminary. He’s also authored four books. With over 50 mission trips to 11 countries, many in Israel, Roger is passionate about spreading the Gospel through relational, pastoral ministry. He and his wife, Beth, have two grown children, Blake and Bailey, and he enjoys college football and the outdoors.
