A Generational Ouija Board Curse: SCARY Ouija Board Stories || Ghosteas Tea Party #124

I feel like attempting to contact the spirits of the dead at least once is like a rite of passage for all who would have put themselves in the category of ‘spooky.’ And just as we’ve said so many times on this podcast, you never know what’s waiting for you in the darkness when you’re reaching out. Today, I’ve brought you several stories from our listeners who took a chance with a ouija board and made contact with something much darker than they intended! La Moira House: Mexico’s Most Haunted House

Every Monday for the month of October, we’ll be telling the histories and haunting mysteries of some of the world’s most horrifying haunted houses. Today we are covering what some have described as being the most haunted house in all of Mexico: La Moira. There are a lot of questions surrounding the history of this home, and the legends told for decades will only leave you wishing you had more information. Is it haunted? Are there demons who call this building home? Is it, as the name would suggest, connected to our fate and destiny? And what answers, whether we want them or not, can it provide?  This week's Tea: Harney & Sons Vanilla Bean  Share your stories with us: ghosteaspod@gmail.com Follow us on Instagram, Facebook, & TikTok YouTube Spotify Apple Podcasts   Check out our PATREON MERCH: available in US only Our PO Box: 1106 Main St PO Box 576 Bastrop, TX 78602 Stay haunted, stay curious, and stay tuned for more Ghosteas! 👻🍵 Learn more about your ad choices. When Contacting Spirits Goes WRONG || Scary Reddit Stories || Ghosteas || Paranormal Podcast

When you reach out into the unknown, when you go looking to make contact with something in the spirit realm, you can never be sure what’s there waiting in the darkness on the other side. You never know if what reaches back out to you has the intention to cause you harm or wreak havoc onto your life. Sometimes a look into the spirit realm, a question asked via a ouija board, and seance is harmless fun or even a true encounter with a loved one, but sometimes it doesn’t end well for those who go looking! Today I’m bringing you several stories from Reddit that detail encounters just like this. These anonymous netizens went looking for answers and didn’t like the response they received. Stairs in the Woods

GET OUR NEW MERCH HERE: https://ghosteas.store The US has more than 50 million acres designated and protected for our national parks. You’ll find all sorts of wildlife and beauty within those boundaries and families flock to them year round. But there are some who believe these parks hold other things deep inside. There are secrets kept amongst those trees and waterfalls. There are some who believe in cryptids and the fae calling these parks home, others think there may be portals to other places, dimensions, that lie inside, waiting for some unsuspecting passerby to make contact. There are many people who happen upon something they just can’t explain while hiking the most desolate areas of our world – like these mysterious stairs in the woods. These steps stand tall, surrounded by nature, completely out of place, and look as though they lead to nowhere. The people who work, day in and day out, within those parks have stories, and luckily for us, some of them turn to Reddit. Today we’ll be discussing one of those secrets kept until about 11 years ago: the string of stories that started the discussions into the phenomenon we all know today as the staircases in the woods.
