Did Hezekiah and Josiah Remove Authentic Temple Relics?

In this episode of Heaven’s Code, we investigate the radical turning points in Israelite worship: the sweeping religious purges of King Hezekiah and King Josiah. We look beyond the assumptions to examine the true nature of high places, sacred groves, stone pillars, and the brazen serpent in Israelite religion and explore why these purges of authentic sacred symbols were made.Don't forget to like, subscribe, and hit the notification bell to keep decoding the lost blueprints of the sanctuary.0:00 Intro - Hezekiah & Josiah's purges of temple relics1:10 High places explained3:28 Massebot Pillars/Images explained5:05 Asherim Groves/Trees explained8:02 Nahushtan Brazen Serpent explained8:50 Meaning of Divine Trees10:18 Meaning of Divine Serpents11:29 Meaning of Divine Pillars or Images11:53 Legitimate worship can easily become corrupted13:46 Worshipping God not counterfeitsFurther reading: Allen Hansen, “Defending Josiah,” in Open Thou Mine Eyes: Defending the Old Testament in Latter-day Saint Doctrine (FAIR, 2025). https://fairlatterdaysaints.org/store/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/04-Allen-Hansen-Defending-Josiah.pdf.________________________Credits: Thanks to Scripture Central's Daniel Smith and the Messages of Christ team for the 3D models of the ancient tabernacle/temples and curating other media. Thanks to Scripture Central and Falter Media for the overall production and editing of this video.

Elijah, the Widow, and the Crucible of Doubt

In this episode of Heaven's Code, we pull back the veil on 1 Kings 17 to reveal a hidden temple progression encoded into the story of Elijah and the Widow of Zarephath. This isn't just a story about surviving a historical famine; it’s an architectural map of how God takes the human soul out of the outer courtyard and guides it through the ultimate refining fire of the Holy Place. We discuss how understanding Heaven's Code can help one find unshakeable faith even when it appears our own children are being hurt by the path and prophetic counsel we've chosen to follow. This episode is an urgent reminder that the crucible of the Holy Place is not abandonment—it is part of a pattern for your ultimate exaltation. The Ten Virgins of Solomon’s Temple

Why did Jesus choose exactly TEN virgins, and split them precisely FIVE and FIVE for his famous parable? The answer isn't just found in first-century wedding customs—it’s hidden in Solomon's Temple! In this episode of Heaven's Code, we explore the Holy Place of Solomon's temple to show how Jesus was likely alluding to the architecture of the Old Testament temple to deliver his famous parable.0:00 Intro - Solomon’s expansions from the Tabernacle0:45 Why 10 lamp-stands?2:25 Menorah as female cosmic tree motif3:36 The 10 temple lamp-stands and the 10 virgins4:56 Conclusion - Preparing one's self to enter the temple___________________Credits: Thanks to Scripture Central's Daniel Smith and the Messages of Christ team for the 3D models of the ancient tabernacle/temples and curating other media. Thanks to Scripture Central and Falter Media for the overall production and editing of this video.

    Samson's Parents in the Temple

In this episode of Heaven’s Code, we decode the profound temple imagery embedded in the miraculous birth of Samson. From Manoah’s sacrifice at the altar to the angel's "secret" name, we discover how ancient sanctuaries served as a beacon of hope for the barren and the weary. Joshua Crosses the Temple Threshold

In this episode of Heaven’s Code, we trace Israel’s dramatic transition from forty years of wandering the wilderness into the long-awaited Promised Land under the leadership of Joshua. Far from being a mere military history, the Book of Joshua is a deeply symbolic narrative that functions as a macro-cosmic tour through the progressive degrees of the ancient Temple. The Blueprint of the JourneyThe Book and the Treaty: We begin with Moses’s final gift to Israel—the Book of Deuteronomy—and explore how it follows the precise structure of an ancient Near Eastern covenant treaty to bind a new generation to their Heavenly King. The Mantle of the Mouthpiece: We analyze Joshua’s prophetic call, where God replaces his fears with divine authority by commanding that "the book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth," echoing the ritual "opening of the mouth" traditions of Enoch and Moses discussed in earlier episodes. The Preparatory Courtyard in Joahua's Narrative (The Aaronic Rites)The Scarlet Cord: We decode the espionage in Jericho and the salvation of Rahab’s household through the scarlet cord. This token acts as a direct echo of the Passover blood, signifying the Law of Sacrifice, the crimson bloodline of the Messiah, and the spiritual rebirth required to enter. The Jordan Crossing: We watch the Ark of the Covenant lead the camp down to the river, acting as the divine "Way". Combined with Joshua’s command to "sanctify yourselves," the parting of the Jordan mirrors the ritual washings, cleansings and crossing the threshold of the temple. Inside the Sanctuary (The Melchizedek Order)The Twelve Stones at Gilgal: After crossing the threshold, Joshua sets up 24 stones as a memorial. Twelves are placed in the river and twelve at Gilgal. This identical 12-and-12 architecture beautifully correlates with the layout of modern pulpits in the Kirtland Temple and the twenty-four elders surrounding the throne of God. The 12 stones at Gilgal represent the gathering of the family of Abraham into the covenant (the children and the fathers), mirroring twelve loaves of Shewbread inside the Holy Place. The Captain of the Host: Joshua is then confronted by a divine messenger with a drawn sword—the Captain of the Lord's Host—who commands him to remove his shoes because he stands on holy ground. This is Christ, the Great Angel bearing the Father's Name, who promises to keep us in the "Way" and lead us securely into the ultimate sanctuary.0:00 The Whole Book of Deuteronomy as Covenant Ceremony4:10 Joshua’s Prophetic Call5:03 The Scarlet Cord as Sacrifice in Temple Courtyard 6:36 Crossing the Jordan as Crossing the Temple Threshold7:35 12 Stones in the River and 12 at Gilgal as Israel's Priestly Orders8:34 The Stones at Gilgal as Symbols of the Abrahamic Covenant9:29 The Captain of the Lord's Host as Jehovah in the Holy Place______________________________Credits: - Thanks to Scripture Central's Daniel Smith and the Messages of Christ team for the 3D models of the ancient tabernacle/temples and for curating other media.- Thanks to Scripture Central and Falter Media for the overall production and editing of this video.

Numbers: An Exodus Through the Holy Place

In this episode, we decode the second leg of the Exodus journey through the Book of Numbers. This path from Sinai to the Promised Land appears to be filled with events, laws, and teachings that mirror the interior of the temple's Holy Place. We explore the consecration of the temple and priesthood, the calling of the Seventy, the "Great Feast," and the fiery serpents demonstrate that this second journey is of a higher magnitude than the first. Finally, we see many of the same themes and the same divine pattern unfolding in the second ministry of Jesus after He comes down from the Mount of Transfiguration and journeys with his disciples to Jerusalem. These second journeys of Moses and Jesus are a higher call to holiness and inheritance in the house.0:00 The Book of Numbers as Higher Path in Holy Place0:40 The Tabernacle and Priesthood in 2nd Journey as the Temple's Holy Place 1:19 Consecration of Levites and Nazarites as Altar of Incense4:03 Leaders Called and Prophesy, Rebels Forbidden to Enter Holy Place5:22 The “Great Feast” of Quail as Table of Shewbread6:29 The Fiery Serpents as the Seraphs of the Holy Place8:41 The Promised Land (Holy Place) Given as Inheritance 9:00 Parallels to Jesus’s Second Ministry10:08 God’s Call to Higher Holiness Today______________________________Credits: - Thanks to Scripture Central's Daniel Smith and the Messages of Christ team for the 3D models of the ancient tabernacle/temples and for curating other media.- Thanks to Scripture Central and Falter Media for the overall production and editing of this video.

Leviticus: The Architecture of Holiness (w/John W. Welch)

In this episode of Heaven’s Code, we decode one of the most misunderstood books of scripture: Leviticus. Often viewed as a mere list of archaic priestly rituals, we reveal that Leviticus is actually a textual map of the temple designed to guide the reader through the stages of Heaven’s Code—from the outer courtyard to the Holy of Holies. Building on the anthropological insights of Mary Douglas, John W. "Jack" Welch and host John S. Thompson explore how the structure of Leviticus mirrors the architectural layout of the Tabernacle: The Courtyard (Chapters 1–16): Known as the Priestly Code, these chapters focus on ritual purity, animal sacrifice, and the laws required to remain "clean" enough to stand on holy ground. The Doorway (Chapters 18–20): These threshold chapters move the focus from external "cleanness" to internal "holiness," marking the transition into a higher way of life. The Holy Place (Chapters 21–24): This section emphasizes the moral and ritual requirements for the entire community to be "holy" as God is holy. The Holy of Holies (Chapters 25–27): The book culminates with the "rest" of sabbath years and the Jubilee, where all things are restored, as well as God's own voice declaring all blessings upon the faithful. We examine the critical distinction between being clean and being holy: The Preparatory Law: Like the first leg of the Exodus journey, the initial laws Moses recorded in his book at Sinai focused on obedience and sacrifice—the "clean hands" required for the courtyard. The Higher Law: Moses’s reception of the stone tablets in the mountain provided a higher law written by the finger of God, moving the mandate to a "pure heart" and the full consecration of the soul. The episode concludes by drawing a powerful parallel to Latter-day Saint history: Just as Israel moved from the "preparatory" wilderness to receive a Higher Law at Sinai, the early Saints moved from New York to Kirtland, Ohio, to receive God's law and be "endowed with power from on high". Doctrine and Covenants 42 can be viewed as a modern "Holiness Code," where the Lord repeated the preparatory laws of obedience and sacrifice while inviting His people to "[act] in all holiness" (D&C 43:9) through the laws of chastity and consecration. Leviticus is not a book of the past; it is a map for the present. Join us as we walk the path from the altar to the veil to discover the ancient architecture of a holy life.0:00 Leviticus in the Exodus1:11 The Two Law Codes of Leviticus4:02 John W.
