Yet another podcast featuring topics of interest, brought down by sheer lack of proper volume management. The host is at times almost inaudible, articularly when guests share the show. I have personally never before heard a podcast where the sound of the guest is three times louder than that of the host, which leaves the listener in a bind: should we turn up the volume so we can actually hear the host, but blast out our eardrums every time the guest speaks? or should we turn the volume down, so that the guest's volume is sufficient, but then sacrifice hearing the host himself? or else, engage in the obnoxious constant toggling up and down of the volume, each time a different person begins to speak?
It's 2021, Jay. There are tools available to assist you in volume control. Case in point: the late October broadcast regarding the Roman Catholic church. Guest: ear-splittingly loud. Host: volume at a whisper. I've heard many podcasts that struggled with volume difficulties, but never to this degree; and to be sure, it is rare now for such problems to manifest, as it is 2021 and it's all been figured out. And just to note: I have my own podcast, and I made darn sure from the first that my volume was consistent and under control. Please clean it up.
