Moon.com Fees Explained (2026): Opening Fee, Holding Fee, Performance Fee & Spread, With Three Worked Bets

Moon.com fees, explained with real numbers. Moon charges four things on a leveraged Up/Down bet: a 1% opening fee on your stake (not your exposure, so $100 costs $1 at 1x or 1000x), a holding fee every 8 hours at a rate Moon does not publish, a performance fee of at least 10% of realized profit, and a spread built into the price. This episode walks three bets through the arithmetic ($100 at 100x that wins, the same bet liquidated, $100 at 10x held for a day), then covers which fee you can avoid entirely and how 3.5% rakeback offsets the rest. There is no deposit bonus on Moon; rakeback is the only fee reduction, switched on by the promo code moonlev. Timestamps (0:00) What Moon.com charges on every bet (0:32) Opening fee: 1% of stake, flat across leverage (0:58) Holding fee: every 8 hours, rate not published (1:20) Performance fee: at least 10% of profit (1:34) The spread nobody sees as a line item (2:03) Example 1: $100 at 100x, wins on a 0.5% move (2:33) Example 2: the same bet, liquidated (3:02) Example 3: $100 at 10x held for 24 hours (3:49) What the fees mean for how you bet (4:42) Rakeback: 3.5% of fees back with code moonlev (5:13) Tables and the calculator Full fees guide with the tables: https://moonleverage.com/fees/ Transcript: https://moonleverage.com/podcast/moon-com-fees-explained/ Rakeback calculator: https://moonrakeback.com/ Promo code moonlev, filled in for you: https://moonreferral.com/ 18+. Moon.com Rakeback Explained (2026): 3.5% of Every Fee Back, How to Activate It

Moon.com rakeback returns 3.5% of the fees you pay, win or lose. This episode covers which fees count (the 1% opening fee, the 8-hourly holding fee and the 10%+ performance fee), the arithmetic on one bet, why leverage does not change it, what a realistic $200-a-month fee bill gets back ($7, or $84 a year), the two ways Moon activates rakeback (the promo code moonlev, or Bronze VIP), and why "Moon.com cashback" is the same thing under another name. There is no deposit bonus on Moon right now; rakeback is the offer. Timestamps (0:00) What this episode covers (0:29) The three fees rakeback comes off (0:58) The arithmetic on one $100 bet (1:22) Why leverage does not change it (1:41) A realistic month: $200 in fees, $7 back (2:13) Rakeback as a discount on the fee rates (2:46) Losing bets and the spread (3:10) How to activate it: code moonlev or Bronze VIP (3:53) Cashback, bonus funds and wagering requirements (4:27) Rakeback in proportion to the risk (4:46) Calculator and links Promo code: moonlev (lowercase).
