    Movement V : Symphony in Bb (Mvt. 1)

    Welcome back to one of our most anticipated episodes of NOTED!!! We can't even begin to describe how much we love this piece! This is obviously one of the most premier works for the wind ensemble, Paul Hindemith's "Symphony in Bb!" Sam and Noah talk about their love for this piece, what makes it so special and compositionally brilliant, as well as a review of the Frank Ticheli Concert at Baylor that Sam was apart of.     Movement IV : Cathedrals

    Welcome back to the fourth episode of Noted season 4! In this episode, Sam and Noah take a look at our first female comper on the podcast!!!     Movement III : Luminescence

    Welcome back to the third episode of Noted season 4! In this episode, Sam and Noah take a look at a "younger" composer, David Biedenbender and his work, "Luminescence!"     Movement II : Suite in F (Part 2)

    Welcome back to the second episode of Season 4 of Noted! In this episode, Sam and Noah take a look at the last two movements from the iconic Second Suite in F by Gustav Holst and discuss all of the things that make it absolutely noteworthy! Along with this important work, Noah details his porcess of getting Sam to watch the whole Lord of the Rings Trillogy, as she has never seen it before!     Surprise! We are BACK!!! + Where we have been?

    Welcome Back, Finally, to Noted!  We have really missed you all and we are so happy to be back! TL;DR After a very hectic time for the last year, Sam and Noah have been off on completely different adventures in their musical lives. Sam joined the Rancho Buena Vista HS band program as assistant band director whilst preparing for graduate school applications and Noah completed his first year of his masters program in music composition at the Peabody Institute. We have a lot to catch up on and this is the episode to do it!  Our first real podcast episode will stream on Friday, August 9th at 10:00 PST!! We can't wait to back back with you ddiscussing this important music and look forward to hearing from you all again!
