    It's a PDA Christmas Special

This week Claire and Lisa return for a Christmas special filled with talk about cats, cold weather, eggnog and more -- as they join forces from opposite sides of the globe. They ask, is it ok to write Xmas or do you have to go the whole hog, do we need a guide to how to cut cheese (and why didn't Lisa know that was a euphemism?) and do you know how to stop the blow ups at a stressful family celebration? There's a lot of culture club including the Royal Family's gift to the world - the Harry and Meghan documentary, which they have mixed feelings about. Oh, and would you go to a Onesie party (and which onesie would you wear?) Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S4. Ep 23. The one about drunk purchases, "wife guys" and ... some news.

This week Claire and Lisa discuss the demise of the "wife guy" -- men who heap praise on their wives in public while many of them seem to go off and have affairs. There's a chat about drunk purchases and what stupid things have been bought while inebriated (Little House On The Prairie Box-set anyone?) and why Nicole and Gwyneth are so thirsty as they get older. They chat about the "social battery" and ask what recharges yours, and Lisa has some painful What Hurts Now moments to deal with. Did you know that adults need to be awake for 16 hours to be ready for 8 hours' sleep? Neither did they. Plus cutlire Club looks at Jeffrey Dahmer and Marilyn Monroe PLUS the wonderful Heartbreak High reboot and the Bling Ring documentary. And there is some sad news too - with the duo taking an extended break while Lisa gets set up back in the UK. Until then... Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S4. Ep 22. The one about active couch potatoes and butter boards.

This week Claire and Lisa dive into the world of butter boards and wonder, are they worth it? They talk about "active couch potatoes" -- those of us who exercise regularly but then sit on the couch for the rest of the day. There's a chat about XO pippies, the deliciousness of the Beckham family saga and how Mercury Retrograde is going for you. There's also a discussion about the new series of the Kardashians, why Khloe has new beauty spots and how the Daily Mail say someone is "unrecognisable" when they mean "fat". And they ask a big question - how long does it take YOU to get out of the house in the morning? Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Claire also asks: Since when is a book about cheeseboards classified as a cookbook? There's a chat about Welcome to Wrexham, Below Deck and The Amazing Race in Culture Club, a discussion about general anaesthetics and why they leave Claire a bit weirded out (plus more on her operation for those who care!) and why a shakti mat is Lisa's new best friend. There's a tiktok trick for cleaning makeup brushes and some Melbourne snacks you'll want to try PLUS they ask the big question: what time do you have dinner? They talk about Meghan Markle and why we can't look away, Leonardo's dating life and why he can't stop dating 20-somethings, and there's a big question: how much do you clean before someone comes to stay in your house? There's a look at The Bear -- one of the best shows on TV right now - and Bad Sisters, which is also amazing, a look at Adam Liaw's tips for being a better cook and why are green powders for inner beauty so expensive because they work so goddam well... They also discuss Amazon's Alexa using recordings of your dead loved ones' voices  -- and whether it's something they'd feel weird about. There's a Culture Club about Elvis the movie and the Kardashians, there's a chat about Air Fryer eggs and why Lisa won't be making them any time soon, and why going out is just so damn hard these days. There's Claire's cat's a**l glands, a discussion about brain fog and why we're all suffering not just menopausal women, and they ask the big question: If you could recycle your wee and donate it to farmers, would you?
