The boys clash heads as they discuss human progress, and question the methods of defining and assessing it. There's no space to take a mental break as the two fire on all cylinders from the start. How do we know the difference between "progress" and "change”? Are things truly better now than they were a thousand years ago? How far has science actually gotten us?
