    20: 99% Give Up

    (Warning: has some crying at 1:55) I didn't know this would happen, but this first week launching my podcast RushMandarin has opened a part of my heart, has allowed me to begin processing 9 months of being away from my friends and family and living in a language that I couldn't really express myself in or think or feel in beyond an elementary school level. In this episode I incidentally process how I'm going to return to the U.S. a different person than when I left, how I've reached my Mandarin Chinese goal of becoming conversationally fluent ahead of schedule, and how I hope through RushMandarin, we can build community and tools to help support others trying to improve their Mandarin and make it a smoother and less lonely journey.
