    Alan West was a famous footballer, and played alongside Pele, Beckenbauer, Cruyff and George Best. He captained Luton Town Football club, and played for them for nearly a decade, and had won the FA youth cup as a young footballer with Burnley, but he didn't know, or want to know anything about Christianity.     For George Perrin, the Bible was only make believe, and at best Jesus was only ever a good teacher. He disliked Christianity, and wanted others to agree.
