    Is Trump Close To Death?

    This week on The Necessary Conversation, Chad, Haley, and Mary Lou discuss the biggest topics in politics. 💊 News broke that the FDA's "compassionate use" program — reserved for patients with serious or life-threatening conditions — was used to give a single 79-year-old man access to an unapproved experimental drug called Retatrutide. Trump was 79 when the request was made. The drug treats obesity, sleep apnea, and pulmonary hypertension — conditions that can be fatal in combination. The White House is denying it's Trump. We ask: should the president get special access to treatments no other American can? 💣 Week 18 of Trump's war. New reporting reveals the Joint Chiefs warned Trump before the war that striking Iran would close the Strait of Hormuz. He ignored them. The memorandum of understanding he signed is already falling apart as Iran launched drones at ships in the strait this week. Not even the most authoritarian governments. ⚖️ The Supreme Court issued two 6-3 rulings effectively ending asylum in America, giving DHS unchecked power to deport Haitian and Syrian nationals and allowing the administration to turn away asylum seekers before they reach the border. Meanwhile, over 6,000 white South Africans have entered the U.S. under a refugee program — each receiving a gift bag with a tablet, an American flag, Trump's 1776 Commission report, PragerU materials, and a children's book accusing South Africa of "favoring the Black population." Afghan allies who served alongside U.S. troops got nothing. Many are still blocked from entry. 📖 Texas voted to mandate Bible stories as required reading for all 5.5 million public school students — no texts from any other religion included. The same day, Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick stood in the Oval Office and declared: "The separation of church and state is not in the Constitution, and from this day forward, that phrase should have no power over people of all faiths ever again."     This week on The Necessary Conversation, Chad (who just turned 50! 🎂), Haley, and Mary Lou celebrate Father's Day and discuss: 💣 Week 17 of Trump's war with Iran. Trump declared "The Deal is now complete" on Sunday. By Wednesday he and Iran's president signed a memorandum of understanding at Versailles. By Thursday, Israel broke the ceasefire with 12 air raids on Lebanon, killing 47 people. By Saturday, Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz again. The deal is effectively dead. We ask Mom and Dad: why can't Trump close this deal, and why won't Netanyahu listen to him? 🟢 Trump promised to clean up the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool for under $2 million. It's now cost over $15 million, the "American Flag Blue" paint is peeling off in chunks, the water turned green with algae, and a 67-year-old three-time Olympian was arrested for touching a piece of already-detached liner. Both contracts were no-bid deals — one to a major Trump donor, the other to a company that had never held a federal contract. Trump blamed "Radical Left vandals." It's also Trump's 80th birthday, making him the oldest president in American history. 🎂 💰 Trump helped Elon Musk become the world's first trillionaire. SpaceX raised $75 billion in the biggest IPO in history — despite losing $4.9 billion last year. The Nasdaq and FTSE Russell changed their rules to fast-track SpaceX into their indexes, meaning your retirement fund could be forced to hold SpaceX stock whether you want it or not.     Trump Falls Asleep Again And Storms Out Of An Interview

    This week on The Necessary Conversation, Haley is back to join Chad and Mary Lou in the 15th week of Trump's illegal war with Iran. We discuss: 🏝️ Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner are buying a $1.4 billion former military island off Albania — complete with 3,600 Cold War nuclear bunkers, miles of tunnels, an underground hospital, and a Soviet submarine base. The deal is funded largely by Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi. Thousands of Albanians took to the streets in protest. We ask: why does the Trump family keep acquiring military bunkers? 💣 Week 15 of Trump's illegal war with Iran.     This week on The Necessary Conversation: Midweek Edition, it's just Chad and Mom (Mary Lou) trading videos from opposite sides of the political aisle. Dad (Bob) had a trip to the ER this week for a UTI — he's home now eating shrimp and recovering. Haley will be back Sunday. ❤️ 🗳️ We kick off with Spencer Pratt's wild AI campaign ad for LA mayor that turns Karen Bass into a Batman villain who hurts puppies, then launches her into space. Mom sent it. Chad is baffled. We both agree it's ridiculous — but Spencer Pratt might actually end up in a runoff against Bass. 🎤 Trump is now floating canceling the Great American State Fair entirely after nearly every musical artist backed out. His solution? Replace it with a rally starring himself — "the man who gets much larger audiences than Elvis in his prime." Only Flo Rida and Vanilla Ice remain. 🏙️ Mom sends a clip of a podcaster roasting NYC Mayor Mamdani's plan to transfer ownership of neglected buildings to nonprofits or tenants.
