And you know we’re back with another fire episode🔥 On today’s episode, we’re discussing the sex hills we’re willing to die on😂 And guys, please let us know… are we exaggerating?😭 Someone on the podcast said their perfect sex song is “Bandana” by Asake, and apparently THAT is the sex hill they’re willing to die on😂What’s your perfect sex song? 👀🎶 Comment below! September is sexual health awareness month, here are eight things we think you should do for your sexual health this month: -See a gynecologist 👩🏾‍⚕️ Book that appointment you’ve been putting off. -Get tested for STIs 🩺 Even when you feel completely fine, regular testing is part of taking care of your sexual health. -Learn something new about sexual health 📚 Your body, contraception, STIs, pleasure, fertility… pick something you want to understand better. -Have the uncomfortable conversation 🗣️ Talk to your partner about sexual health, testing, boundaries and expectations. -Talk about contraception 💊 Find out what options are available and which one works best for you and your needs. -Know your body 👀 Pay attention to changes, unusual symptoms or anything that doesn't feel normal, and don't be afraid to seek medical advice. -Talk about consent ❤️ Consent should be clear, mutual and ongoing. • Tricia smuggled her dad into Disney World

Tricia smuggled her dad into Disney World

Every tourist destination wants their guests to have a happy experience, but few places do that as well as Disney World in Orlando, Florida. When Disney World visitors were surveyed, 75% said they were very satisfied with their experience. Did you know, the Magic Kingdom Park at Disney World gets around 21 million visitors every year? And if you combine all of the Disney parks, it’s around 58 million people each year. And people keep coming back. And for anyone with kids, it’s a no-brainer – that’s where the kids want to go. My guest today is Tricia. She and her sister, Heather, and their mom and dad, would make trips to Disney World every year. It was a family tradition that they all looked forward to. They knew the layout of the Magic Kingdom by heart, and it didn’t matter that the rides and the attractions and the fireworks were the same as when they were there the year before. It was their place. But there was one family trip to Disney World that was not like any of the others. America’s most wanted: my family on the run, part 1

In some ways Zayd Ayers Dohrn’s childhood was normal; his parents went to work and played with him in the park. Though in other ways it was anything but: moving between safe houses, fleeing in the night as the FBI moved in. His parents were the leaders of a violent revolutionary group called the Weathermen and then the Weather Underground, which the US government classed as a domestic terror group. They opposed the Vietnam war and racism in American society. They drew attention to their cause though bombing campaigns targeting government institutions from police stations to the Pentagon. The group were largely white college graduates, they worked with militant black organisations such as the Black Liberation Army to organise bank robberies and jailbreaks. By the time Zayd was born his parents had been fugitives for several years. They taught him how to identify the FBI agents who were looking for them and how to lose a tail if he was being followed. For Zayd, as a small child, it was a game – but one with potentially serious consequences as his parents' activities could see them sent to prison for years. However, they wanted him to go to school and for him to do this they decided to hand themselves in. What Would We Do If…? | Episode 231

What’s good, Inbetweeners? Happy episode day! Thank you for all the love on our last episode. We appreciate every like, comment and share❤️. We’re back with another episode of dilemmas, but this time, we’re switching things up a little. These aren’t your usual “My boyfriend has been cheating on me, what should I do?” dilemmas😂.These ones are a little more… interesting, and we get to share exactly what we would do if we found ourselves in these situations. For example, what would you do if your husband suddenly changed his password and, when you asked why, he said, “Married people deserve privacy too.” So you change your password too… and suddenly, there’s a problem with that. 👀What would you do in a situation like that? Well, we have a few more. Watch or listen to the new episode and let us know what YOU would do in the situations we discussed. Amb. Fred Gateretse-Ngoga | Burundi, DR Congo & Why Africa Cannot Find Peace

Ambassador Fred Gateretse-Ngoga spent 17 years at the African Union working on some of Africa's most difficult peace and security challenges.  In this episode of The Long Form Podcast, recorded shortly before his departure from the AU Commission, Fred sits down with Sanny Ntayombya for a candid conversation about Burundi, Rwanda, eastern DRC and the future of peace in Africa.  He discusses his controversial public criticism of discrimination against Burundi's Tutsi community, whether ethnic power-sharing created lasting stability, and what Rwanda, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo misunderstand about each other.  They debate whether wars can sometimes be resolved through military victory, the M23 and FDLR question, growing Afrophobia and xenophobia across Africa, and why conflicts continue to proliferate despite decades of African Union peacebuilding.  Sponsors: ShieldTech Hub- https://www.shieldtechub.com                                            Akagera Medicines- https://www.akageramedicines.com  BasiGo Rwanda- https://www.basi-go.com/rwanda  CanalBox-https://www.canalbox.rw  Join our Patreon to enjoy ad-free viewing https://www.patreon.com/cw/TheLongFormPod or support us via our MTN Mobile Money Code 95462 or directly to our phone number: +250795462739 Visit Sanny Ntayombya's Official Website: https://sannyntayombya.com Produced by LF Media

  • I was forced to rob my own bank, part 1

    25 May

I was forced to rob my own bank, part 1

In 2000, armed men burst into Michelle Renee's home and held her child hostage while she was forced to rob her own bank. None of them could have predicted what happened next. Michelle Renee was at home with her seven-year-old daughter Breea when armed men burst through the door. They held Breea hostage while they took Michelle to the bank where she worked. She was told to remove all the money from the vault or her daughter would die. The gang were later caught and imprisoned but the fallout from that day and the accusations hurled at her during the trial would leave a lasting scar. Ten years after the event Michelle and Breea chose to write one of the gunmen a letter. It was a way of bringing the story to a close, they weren’t expecting a response. It took him years but Robert Ortiz did write back – asking did she want to meet?  This story is told in two episodes, in episode one Michelle tells the story of the day of the robbery and the impact of the trial when suddenly she stands accused. In episode two we bring in Robert and hear how two people have built a friendship from the most unlikely start. 9/11 Boy: Growing up with grief with David Ferrugio

25 years ago, the United States was rocked by the tragedy of 9/11. American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175 struck the North and South Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City. American Airlines Flight 77 struck the Pentagon. United Airlines Flight 93 went down in a field in Pennsylvania after its passengers fought back against the hijackers. Almost 3,000 people died that day. For 25 years, the echo of that tragedy has been heard – everyone remembers where they were, how they heard, and the paralyzing fear in the aftermath. None more than the survivors and the loved ones of those who lost their lives that day.  David Ferrugio was an ordinary seventh grader on that Tuesday morning, stressed about homework and school and the fact that his friend, Jeff, was late again. But when Jeff showed up and said, “Hey, David, doesn’t your dad work at the World Trade Center? A plane just crashed into it,” everything changed. Today, David Ferrugio, host of Dead Talks, author of You’re Not Dead Yet, and friend of the podcast, is here to talk about the complicated grief that came with losing his father in the 9/11 attacks – the constant push and pull of public and private grief, his identity being tied to this tragic loss, and what it looks like 25 years later.
