소개

ALT/FNDATA is a podcast network covering the global auction, luxury, and alternative asset markets. Hosted by Sharon Obuobi, founder of the ALT/FNDATA data platform, the network delivers daily market briefings, equity analysis, and weekly deep dives across fine art, jewelry, watches, collector cars, and luxury goods — backed by proprietary data from over 850 auction houses and more than 10 million lots worldwide. The network publishes five shows: (1) Open Bid is your weekday morning briefing on stocks, auctions, and the luxury market. Every weekday at 6 AM Eastern, host Sharon Obuobi delivers the key auction results, institutional developments, and market data you need to start your day informed. From spring sales totals at Christie's, Sotheby's, and Phillips to museum openings, gallery news, and luxury retail developments — Open Bid covers the full landscape in under four minutes. (2) Closing Price is your end-of-day equity analysis connecting public markets to the auction and luxury asset world. Every weekday at 5 PM Eastern, Closing Price tracks the publicly traded companies behind the world's leading auction houses, luxury brands, and collector markets — including LVMH, Richemont, Kering, Ferrari, Burberry, Swatch Group, Watches of Switzerland, Signet Jewelers, Hermes, and Zegna. The show connects stock price movements to secondary market auction data that most equity analysts never see. (3) Art Market is a weekly look at global fine art trends, auction data, and market insights. Every Tuesday, the show covers auction results, sell-through rates, artist records, museum acquisitions, gallery developments, and institutional news — within the context of the broader economy and discretionary spending. (4) Luxury Spending is a weekly analysis of trends in high-value spending across jewelry, gemstones, watches, and handbags. Every Wednesday, the show covers auction results from Christie's, Sotheby's, Phillips, and Bonhams, alongside diamond market data, Swiss watch export figures, retail earnings from Signet and Watches of Switzerland, and consumer trends across the luxury goods sector. (5) Auto Market is a weekly look at the collector car, motorcycle, and aircraft auction markets. Every Thursday, the show covers sale results from RM Sotheby's, Bonhams, Gooding, Mecum, and other major houses, alongside marque analysis, concours coverage, new model context, and equity data on publicly traded automakers including Ferrari, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Porsche. All five shows are powered by ALT/FNDATA's proprietary data platform, which tracks auction results, sell-through rates, and pricing trends across 21 categories including fine art, jewelry, gems, watches, handbags, automobiles, motorcycles, aircraft, wine, design, fashion, coins, and bullion. ALT/FNDATA publishes 13 episodes per week — 10 daily episodes across Open Bid and Closing Price, plus three weekly deep dives. The network also produces a weekly video recap on YouTube and a weekly blog roundup at altfndata.com.
