Bad Bread

UNASHAMED: UNEARNED (Romans 4: 1-8)

God does not justify us as payment for what we have accomplished; He credits righteousness to the ungodly who trust Him. Who Am I

Tonight we're in Matthew 16:13–20, where Jesus asks his disciples the question that matters more than any other: "Who do you say that I am?" Peter gets the answer right — "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God" — but we'll see that having the right title doesn't mean you've got it all figured out, and that Jesus's promise to build his church rests on his faithfulness, not ours. We'll close by asking a question every believer eventually has to answer: whose church do you think this actually is?

Fear Not, I am!

In Matthew 14:22–33, Jesus walks upon the stormy sea and reveals Himself as the sovereign Son of God, calling His disciples to trust His word above their circumstances. This study shifts the focus from Peter’s brief walk on the water to Christ’s divine identity, reminding us that seeing Jesus clearly should ultimately lead us to worship.

UNASHAMED: Sola Fide (Romans 3: 27-31)

Because salvation is God's gift from beginning to end, all human boasting is excluded. Jew and Gentile alike are justified in the same way, through faith alone in Christ alone. Far from overthrowing God's law, faith establishes it by receiving the righteousness the law itself could never produce. This week, Pastor Brian considers one of the great pillars of the Protestant Reformation with a sermon entitled, Sola Fidé from Romans chapter 3, verses 27 through 31.
