At the Office of Faculty Development (OFD), we support and energize the growth of our faculty members—as clinicians, researchers, educators or leaders, or any combination of the above—within the Cumming School of Medicine (CSM) at the University of Calgary. Dive into a world where inclusive governance, pluralism, collaboration, and equity are more than just buzzwords—they are our driving force! Our programs cover everything from teaching, orientation, mentorship, leadership, technology integration including AI, policy and advocacy and faculty promotions. We are on a mission to empower and uplift every faculty member, breaking down barriers, and spreading our reach to all who may not typically envision themselves within academia. Our podcasts are not only intended as resources for our faculty members, but also as a channel to share these conversations with medical educators around the world.
