She Kept Ghosting Me But God Still Had A Plan

We all have our own plans for how things should go, but God's plan is always better than anything we could have asked for. Shannon experienced this in her own life after becoming a missionary. When reaching out to a student, she repeatedly was ghosted, nothing was going as planned, until a divine encounter with one of the girls that was in her bible study, eventually got her student to join. From there, a life was changed, a family was converted, and a full circle moment came to fruition that only God could have planned.

The Bible & Shopping

Until they got a heavy diagnosis, and put their dreams of starting a family to the side. In this desolation, God met her, and her faith was increased as she accepts the cross she was given. Then, God performed a miracle.

For this week’s episode, Sarra and Jule are talking about two gifts that pair surprisingly well: Nostalgia and Ice Cream. They start by unwrapping the gift of Nostalgia. Jule and Sarra look back on screen doors, playing outside all day, Christmas catalogs, iconic childhood outfits, and all the little things that can instantly transport us to another time. They also talk about why nostalgia creates such a deep ache, how our longing for the past can reveal what we’re really searching for, and how we can use those memories to create a present worth feeling nostalgic for someday. Then they explore the gift of Ice Cream! The gals debate the best flavors, share their favorite ice cream traditions, and talk about everything from neighborhood Dairy Queen walks and beachside ice cream carts to the haunting life of an ice cream truck driver. Most importantly, they celebrate how a simple scoop can turn an ordinary summer night into something special. To close out the episode, Jule and Sarra play a round of White Elephant and decide whether they would receive, return, or regift plated dinners, girl math, Diet Coke, mid-century modern decor, and backing into parking spots.
