Max Taylor

I’m Max, and I have been called to pastoral ministry. My podcasting journey began in 2021 while I was still in college. It started with me telling a friend how much I would love to have a podcast to teach the Bible and they told me to go for it! I can still picture the coffee shop that another friend of mine and I drove to on a rainy Florida day to record the intro video for what became Sermon Snippets, a 15-minute weekly study through various books of the Bible. Throughout college, I continued the Bible study as I studied youth ministries, Biblical languages, and church music. During that time, the Lord taught me a lot as I worked on staff at the youth group there and counseled at summer youth camps for three years. The highlight was getting to be a spiritual mentor to the teens and college students I was ministering to. There were also plenty of opportunities to preach, and during Covid I helped lead an on-campus Bible study. Since graduating college, I have been working full-time and continuing to prepare for ministry. I currently spend my free time producing my two podcasts, preparing for weekly preaching, and leading a local Bible study. I really want to be a pastor someday down the road, and I love talking about ministry philosophy, historical geopolitics, and doctrine in theory and practice. These podcasts are an extension of my personal study and have become an outlet for thoughts about my Christian life and ministry. I hope these episodes are a benefit to your walk with God.
