Noosed Octopus is the umbrella under which comedian Dan Bain produces material. They make and present things that are fun. You might like them. Dan Bain is a theatre director, a playwright, and one third of improvised comedy sensation Perfuct Storm. He literally wrote the book on improvising in a performance context (These are NOT the Rules of Improvisation - available now at perfuct.co.nz) and his deliberately dull sleep-aid podcast Dan Bain’s Sleepy Time Mumbles remains bafflingly popular. He’s been doing standup comedy for almost as long as he’s been obsessed with chicken wings and has been podcasting since 2014. He has been a longtime collaborator with comedian Javier Jarquin and this continues in their ridiculous rewatch podcast of the X-men Animated Series. His latest podcast project The Mechanically Recorded Diary of Francis Carpet will be released late 2023.
